"Our room was quite small and so was the ensuite. The bed was very high up! It was comfortable enough, but there was only one pillow per person. Towels in ensuite quite thin. Really lovely and quiet, even though we kept our window open. Breakfast was okay, not much choice for vegetarians. Location of hotel is great. Walk down passed the hotel car park and you are on the path overlooking the sea in minutes. The Durley Dean is a beautiful building. The inside is reminiscent of traditional hotels of day's gone by. All perfectly adequate for a holiday by the sea."

"Hotels can always be a little noisy but when You allocate famalies with small children.in the rooms above single rooms it's not exceptable to be woke up at 5 am in the morning with childen stomping about on the floor and having to phone reception to complain .maybe just a thought on your part would make the stay more pleasurable Sincerely Anthony room 39"

"Dust in A/C unit made both of sneeze multiple times before shutting it off. This is from someone who has no allergies and went into a sneezing fit. Needs a thorough cleaning. If you have a dust allergy, beware."

"The instructions for entry were misleading & it took over an hour to work out what they meant. There were 3 steep & sharp steps to the front door & no hand rail. The dining room furniture was a table on wheels which wouldn't lock, no chairs but 2 wooden benches from a garden set. Neither lavatory had a properly fitting seat. On Saturday the builder next door was apparently stripping wood on the party wall. The noise was so loud the telephone answerer couldn't hear me on the phone. I was told they would look into a change of house & would get back to me. By Tuesday when the noise started up again, they had not. I requested at least a partial refund but received no answer"

"The house was immaculate having been newly renovated with everything we needed as well as thoughtful extras like locally sourced toiletries. The location of the house suited our needs. There is no parking allocated but we did not struggle to find parking a short walk away for which a permit was provided. Great access to local park and restaurants and short, easy drive to the coast. As a family of 5 we would have benefited from twin beds in one of the rooms, but it was not major issue. "

"Beautiful home with everything you needed. The only downside we found was the games room was cold and took a long time to warm up.The hot tub went down to 35 degrees at 5pm and could not be used in the evenings, we have one ourselves and this should not be the case, it should be at the right temperature at all times, other than when it is used, then it should get back up to temperature with in hour or so, but this did not happen, so could not be used as thought until 10pm. A lot of the games had pieces missing so again could not be used "
