"lovely stay, Rooms are a very good size. We found the pillows far too firm the first night but they very kindly found us softer ones for the second night and we slept so well. Good selection at breakfast- the best mini pastries I've had! "

"Fantastic stay with excellent spa and inclusive minibar was great. Lots to do on site. Vietnamese restaurant was also wonderful. Very convenient parking included too. "

"The room I was given,was not ready and not cleaned by the previous occupant. It was bit of inconvenience having to go back to checking desk and ask for a different room. In the bathroom, one of the lightbulbs was out. I couldn't see the hairdryer, apparently it was in the wardrobe,in a bag... Gym facilities - 1 broken running machine and rower. For such a big hotel it really is a shame to have such small gym with one barbell! The staff in the gym not very helpful, I had no idea where to go, and the lockers with a tap pad ,no instructions how to use it. Once given instructions,still the lockers are very temperamental, in the end I couldn't use it. I locked about 3 but couldn't unlock them at all. Glad I didn't put my stuff inside. Wanted to eat at the restaurant,but was told it's fully booked, again very disappointed having to be turn down, and had to eat in a very noisy bar area. Overall not worth the price."

"Really friendly staff, sorted us Sunday dinner at last minute and served us in bar so we could watch football. Couldn’t fault it."

"When we got to the hotel and checked in at approx. 9pm we were shown to our room only to discover that a tradesman was still working on the tap in the bathroom. He hurriedly tried to clear all his tools and equipment out of the room while the hotel receptionist said "I'll give you another room". He said no, i'm just going and so we got put in that room. We went in the bathroom and there was caulking on the floor and the smell made me and my daughter sneeze. The side bath panel had extensive water damage and when I had a shower, water leaked from the shower screen down the side of the bath and onto the floor, creating a very large pool of water. The cold tap in the sink, it didn't matter which way we turned the tap, it didn't fully switch off. The bunk bed in our room, had a couple of slats missing from the top bunk and one of our daughters said she could feel the springs that were in the mattress on the top bunk, so both my daughters slept in the bottom bunk together. There was no hairdryer in the room, there were only 3 mugs in the room for 4 people."

"Nice entrance. Reasonable and at times lovely staff. I’m 37 and fell on the extremely unsafe shower tiles that have absolutely no stick (we have video proof) fractures one of the bones in my thumb. Staff at desk admit to poor safety compliance and apologised but manager was dismissive and unhelpful and offered no apology. No once. I’m not at all a health and safety nut but between this incident and the fact that dishes are left outside rooms for 24 hours and strange smells I wouldn’t be going back in a hurry "

"A lot of building work going on - no notice of this in advance so was ill-prepared for the drilling, etc to start up at 8AM this morning. Had I known in advance, I would have booked somewhere else"
