Tahoe 5/23

Loved the property except the music was very loud in the public area outside our windows...not affiliated with Marriott. Rock music loudly playing is not relaxing and we came to relax. Hopefully, someone can talk to the owners of the pee wee golf/ice skating area and have them turn the music down. Otherwise a great property.

Heavenly did a good job ruining it

I am willing to pay extra for this place because it is walk in to the gondola. Except when the gondola doesn't run which seems to be about 50% of the time in my experience over the years. No biggy, in that case we have an alternative: drive to the CA main lodge ... except surprise surprise starting this year you need to reserve parking ... and of course 'on the day of' there is no more parking available ... so Heavenly says take the free shuttle bus ! Except when the gondola is closed there is an enormous amount of people that need this, but apparently no extra busses ?!? That is absurd really. Then again when you finally arrive after 1.5+ hour waiting for a spot on the damn free bus, then you find that The Gunbarrel lift has a wait time of almost another hour ... all things said and done I got my first run in at 11:30am!!! Not the experience I was paying big bucks for.
