"This is a lovely old fashioned-feeling, quirky hotel with a great atmosphere. It is in a great location in the heart of Totnes. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all our meals were tasty with decent portions. The staff members, without exception, were cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Parking is tight with there being only a small car park so other parking options may need to be considered before arrival."

"Ein sehr idyllisch gelegenes Häuschen mit viel Ruhe drumherum. Das Haus war sehr sauber und alles notwendige war da. Der große Gemeinschaftspool war besonders bei den Kindern sehr beliebt. Der Wäscheservice und die Kommunikation waren unkompliziert. Viele hilfreiche Informationen zum Haus, zur Umgebung und zu Aktivitäten wurden wunderbar übersichtlich im Haus zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir konnten viele Unternehmungen starten. Es war während unserer Zeit im Sommer sehr warm, zwei Lüfter im Haus konnten etwas helfen (und natürlich der große Pool)."

"Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding. Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts. Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners. Beautfiul location. Lovely Japanese meditation garden next to the bagel cafe, was lovely on a sunny morning. Check in time is only between 3-6. A couple of family members were coming later so we had to arrange permission and collect keys earlier to ensure they could get in to their rooms. Arrive in time for check in to avoid problems"

"Excellent accomodation and facilities, site a little steep negated by the close car park so wasn't a problem. Access via the local roads a bit tight, but the scenery is stunning, nearby Totnes definitely worth a visit. Overall a great holiday."
