Interesting place. Really need a group of friends there to take full advantage of everything on offer from renting the whole house and private dining to having a wild party in one of the great past spaces they have created. Everything very high quality and well designed.

Off the beaten path, idyllic inn on a Devon lane

Magical inn convenient to Riverford Farm Kitchen. In the narrow lanes. Beautiful “nouveau rustic” stone walls and wood beams plus luxurious modern baths. Breakfast trays delivered to your room. Farm fresh milk and eggs. Make your own tea or coffee. Beautiful swimming pool.

Perfect stay

We headed to ANRAN for a weekend for my wife's birthday, dog in tow. Usually, 'dog-friendly' hotels are dog friendly because they are a bit grubby and run down- not Anrun. What a place! We arrived late on Friday night, after a helpful phone call from Kamila while we were driving to explain where to park and how to find our room. We were staying in the courtyard area, which was tastefully lit and lined with potted trees. The room was utterly gorgeous, rugged stone walls were softened with beautiful furniture, including a four-poster bed and free standing bath in the bedroom. Everything was immaculate, including a well equipped kitchen area. It also had underfloor heating and was comfortably warm. They had even left out a little basket with some towels, bowls and mess bags for the dog. Mike and Edwin were fantastic and showed us round and even took us down to the lake to let the dog swim. Breakfast was brilliant, with some fantastic produce delivered to your door each morning. Can't recommend Anran enough, Loads going on in the area too. We took dog to Haytor Rocks, which were 20mins away. We had an afternoon tea in Hill House Nursery, which was great, and only a short walk away. The Live and Let Live pub has just opened (with a link to Anran) and we walked there one night for a very tasty pub dinner. Proper food, done exceptionally well, at a good price.

Superb Place to Stay for Newton Abbot & Totnes

Fantastic place to stay - everything is made easy and straight forward. Perfect position for Newton Abbot, Totnes and even Plymouth. The accommodation is fantastic and well maintained.

Fantastic experience

We stayed in the Barn Apartment set in the courtyard of the old dairy farm. A fully modern apartment refurbished with under floor heating, tv, wifi, hifi, luxurious bed. The staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was a feast of fresh organic produce. We only stayed one night - sadly because this place deserves time to relax and explore.
