"Lovely stay in a beautiful house. Had everything we needed for a relaxing family break. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Bed linens all lovely, great selection of games, we especially enjoyed articulate. Challaborough itself has a beautiful beach, great for morning stroll with the dog. Can recommend for a relaxing break with fresh air, gorgeous views and then a lovely snug house time back to."

"Wonderful hotel, great condition. Our room had stunning views and the staff were superb (especially Dan). Slight disappointment that they ran out of GF breakfast options on day 2, even tho we'd had on day one and they knew we were staying 2 nights, but this was recovered well."

"Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. "

"Very friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends."

"I had a 4 night break to explore the countryside in South Devon and Malborough is close enough to the sea to be able to walk there without needing a car which I wanted and it is near a bus stop so you can go by train which I did. You can see some of the more out of the way places by foot which are not commercialised and there are plenty of footpaths and lanes to get around. there are a lot of options for walking and day trips.I had a single room which was economical with a newly refurbished bathroom. There was some traffic noise as I had a bedroom in the front."
