Romantic Creekside Cabin w/hot tub Near Smoky Mountains National Park

"Cabin is nice, a little outdated with furniture but decent. Nice front porch that wraps around one side to where the hot tub is and access to the small fire pit area. The driveway is very steep, but paved and if you’re driving a 1500 truck or bigger it’s super tight parking and turning around to get down the driveway. We managed but not sure two cars could manage it. King bed upstairs was very comfy and bathroom is nice size with W/D hidden. My only gripe about the bathroom was the shower head that was installed was super low for us at 5’9 tall. It was very loose and wouldn’t tighten up. It hit my head a couple times until I held it. I tried to adjust it to bend a little higher but it was maxed out. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils and dishes and pots you need. We cooked breakfast all but two mornings. Grilled almost every evening. Description stated no WiFi and that’s correct. We did watch a few of the DVDs but we hit the bed early since we were tired from hiking most everyday. Location is not far from Bryson City, Silva, Dillsboro, Cherokee, Maggie Valley and Franklin. The creek was nice to hear but could enjoy it since it is across the road from cabin. There is no yard for my lab to run around in, we did manage to get in some frisbee time in the small clear area in front but it’s down by the road I was worried he would run out into it. It is secluded but there is a house very close to that property like right beside the driveway and they have small dogs and a cat."

"We liked the set up. Even extended oir stay. The price was great. Beds were comfortable. We had a few complaints, but overall it worked for us. We bought and left a broom and fly swatter. No yard at all. NOT kid friendly. No outside water hose. Could use a good, deep cleaning inside and out."

"Great secluded property, and the view is awesome. The driveway is a little iffy on the last leg up to the actual cabin, at least it can be for a non SUV or all wheel drive vehicle. Of course, it had just rained and continued to rain off and on during our stay, so that didn’t help since we were on 2 Honda Odyssey’s , but we did it.The cabin is dated, however, for the most part it is clean in the main living and sleeping areas. The pictures didn’t quite match our expectations. The pull out couch downstairs could not be used due to uncleanliness. There is no ice maker in the freezer, only old fashioned cube trays. If I missed that in the description, I apologize. Not a big deal but with 11 folks it ran out pretty quickly. Water pressure in basement shower was non existent. The layout of the cabin was great and flowed well with our extended family and kids. The grill outside was pretty gross and unclean, so we couldn’t use. Hot tub seemed to work and had been kept up. With a big renovation this place would be a show stopper!"
