"The unit was very clean and the staff was attentive. FYI if you are travelling after Nov 1 nothing is open. We had to get dinner from the grocery store. All restaurants and attractions are closed for the season."

"My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!"

"Beautiful place and views!We loved this cottage and it was one of the best VRBO places we have stayed. Comfortable and relaxing with a fantastic deck for our morning coffee and evening wine. And the view from the deck was beautiful especially with the peak fall colors. It met all of our needs and more. If you are thinking about booking this I would not hesitate. You will love it. We were able to drive up and down the hill with no problems without an all wheel drive. Got a little head start and kept in low and it worked. It may be more of an issue if it is wet or slick. Great stay and Cape Breton is beautiful. "
