The room is large, the air conditioning is new and efficient. There is no hair conditioner, cups, and coffee, and food provided in the place, but you can drive 10 minutes to there. You have a good night’s sleep in the room to continue with next day’s trip.

Clean room and nice location away from the busy towns. 15 mins to the Cabot Trail, 25 to Baddeck. Three outdoor fire pits with plenty of seating for all. Housekeeping on request, very helpful and quick to respond. There is a trade off with the lower price, there is no microwave or coffee maker, there is a small spot around the corner that makes great coffee called Dans Things. We stayed six nights and bout a cheap electric kettle at Walmart 20 mins away in Sydney. Fridge and AC worked great. I would stay here again!

Hello, and thank you for reaching out. I did want to share that my stay had a few challenges. The room was clean, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and sagged quite a bit, which made it difficult to sleep. The Wi‑Fi connection was inconsistent during my stay. The staff were friendly, but overall the experience wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped. I hope this feedback is helpful moving forward.

We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip and had no issue with our room. We decided to book another night at the end of our vacay and weren’t quite so lucky. The bathtub had obviously not been cleaned as I pulled out the bath mat, there was hair underneath. There was also dried on food in the microwave and when I dropped some water on the floor and wiped it up, I was a little shocked at how dirty the floor actually was. It was too late to contact anyone by this time and on checkout, there wasn’t anybody at the desk to speak to. Check in was good and the owner seemed nice. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t properly cleaned.
