Room was very nice but also very warm, had to fill kettle with a glass as bathroom sink was to small, also didn't offer breakfast as didn't open till 12noon.

There was no entertainment after we were told there was nothing for the kids to do at all the room was far to hot no air conditioning at all and all we could hear all night was the boiler we hardly had no sleep at all the beds were so uncomfortable and sweeky won’t be returning worst stay

Property is undergoing refurbishment and had very limited opening times.no breakfast availabke. No one around to ask for local info.walls very thin and disturbed by neighbours tv and continuous cough

A pleasant stay at The Kings Head Inn. Booked the room last minute. Accommodation was exactly as presented in the images. Shame there was no site on staff during check in and out hours. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location was close to Ingoldmells and Skegness. Plenty things to do nearby at a 5 minute driving distance. Couldn't fault the stay.

Do not book, or think twice before you do!!
Not a pleasant stay, room was grubby, bed not freshly made up, pillow protectors were all stained a yellow colour, fortunately we have V pillows we use and avoided direct contact with their pillows and laid on top of covers as was hot anyway, bathroom was dirty, unable to use basin tap, floors tiles loose and shower turns boiling hot with pressure change without warning, no milk for morning refreshments, and this was the so called Valentines Suite Room , no option for breakfast at all as no one around in the mornings, only stayed one night and paid for two but left early due to place generally grubby and tired all round, all in all I should have left just after arrival!!! The only good thing was the staff were very pleasant and friendly with the exception of the lady owner!!! Formal complaint made but ignored!!

Myself and my family were so disappointed.its absolutely nothing like its been described on all online accommodation,/booking platforms.There are no facilities for families as described, no breakfast unless you call breakfast,ordering your food at 12and eating when it arrives. Do not even think about asking for extra milk or sugar for your drinks tray as you'll be firmly told no . Even if you ask nicely because you've only just found out you've no breakfast and you drank your morning drinks the afternoon before when checking in and unpacking because you've had a 3 hr train journey.30 min bus ride and a mile long walk. My children are 3 and 6 and get up at around 7am and had to leave the hotel on our first morning to walk the mile to the bus stop with nothing but a glass of water. As did myself and my husband. When we tried to explain what had happened and if they could help in any way they finally responded, after we rang the emergency phone number and had some cross words, with a very rude and abrupt manner trying to convince me that I was stupid and I didn't understand the booking and that he did serve breakfast....at 12!!!! He had no empathy or compassion for our situation. He didn't want to listen he didn't offer an apology and didn't have any intention of seeing anything from our point of view. Eventually he gave us our tea,coffee tray quota,for the next morning!to drink then!so no more for the following morning!!!a small gesture of kindness would have gone so far😢

Lovely little place
Lovely family run establishment. Large family room which was great. Kettle in room too. Could’ve done with a mini fridge or something communal just as they don’t serve breakfast and the pub doesn’t open until 12. Mattress was very soft, didn’t have the best sleep. Could do with curtains as well as the blinds in the room. Toilet/shower good working order.

booked at last minute so wasn’t a lot of choice Beds were clean , main areas clean (toilet sink ) . Shower dirty with pink mould . Very dusty , breakfast poor , bar area could do with a revamp and a good clean . Wasn’t worth the money.

Very friendly staff, comfortable room and good food. Food served until 9pm except Saturday and Sunday when service finishes at 6:45pm. There are no notices of this and staff do not make it clear, so could end up with out a meal.

I booked my stay with you and I payed for my stay at the kings head 20 minutes later you today took another £55 from my account this left me with no money in Skegness and I also had my 14 old child with me. Me giving my card details was just to confirm the booking this just ruined mine and my daughters trip not having any money and nobody caring less about it your website says nothing about taking a payment I will never use a company like this again

Overall, the room was clean and a good size and the staff friendly. However, we felt we were somewhat mis-sold as we were arriving on a Sunday late in the afternoon, when the pub actually shuts by 5 PM. Had we have known this before we booked, we would have booked somewhere else. This left us with no food, entertainment or amenities, which was one of the reasons we booked a hotel with a pub attached in the first place. Rather than being able to relax and have a drink and eat at 6pm, we found ourselves having to drive unprepared into the night to find food and entertainment for the little one. This was no easy feat in itself, considering Skegness is almost dead this time of year. On the fourth attempt, we found a suitable pub/restaurant that accommodated our needs. This should’ve been made extremely clear at time of booking.

Nice B n B, some part of the hotel looks tired
Nice stay, only saw 2 members of staff, they was very nice, breakfast was nice, only one choice of drink tho. Hotel room was clean, no wardrobes to hang clothes, couple of coat hangers on coat rail, not enough in a family room. Bathroom had mould on ceiling and a hole in the ceiling, plaster coming off, but did not effect my stay. Just some parts need a bit of love and care, décor look tired. Overall stay was pleasant. I would go back again.
