"The room was very clean and simple. On the rare occasion that it warms up over 60 degrees in Sitka there is no air conditioning they provide a fan. The bed was very comfortable and a college fridge is provided. The staff are very nice and accommodating!"

"This was a GREAT rental in Sitka! It is walkable from the downtown area for reasonably athletic people. We got nervous about rain at the last minute and rented a car. This was the only area in which the owner/manager did not respond to us immediately (we tried to see if their car was available), and we then rented a car through another app. That said, we learned it was imperative to text rather than use the VRBO app for important questions. Anyhow, it was quiet, clean, spacious for 2, would be cozier for 3 or 4, but still doable given the living room couch is apparently a bed. We absolutely would stay here again if we visit Sitka."

"The best location for our group, we loved staying at Bayview Heights. The property is so functional, clean, new and has gorgeous views of the harbor. Walking distance from everything in town. Amazing, we cannot wait to come back!"

"Our family of four adults had a fantastic stay at this unique property! The location was perfect for us, midway between the town center and the National Park, and close to a grocery for supplies. The town is easily walkable, just needed to catch a ride from the airport with our luggage. The space was well laid out and furnished, we all just plopped down on the couches and chairs like we lived there. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, kitchen with lots of odds and ends in addition to the necessities (e.g. I borrowed a birthday candle for my wife’s celebratory pastry on our last morning). I appreciated the coffee setup and bag of ground coffee provided so I could enjoy my 2 cups before heading to town to get the fancier beverages for others. The owners were always available and very kind and have created a lovely spot to enjoy time together while visiting Sitka. We left a few sights unvisited so we have a reason to return and stay again in the future : )"
