"Exceeded expectations- which were high! This beautifully renovated historic library is perfectly presented in every way. We stayed in the director's room which was tucked away on the lower level. It was so cozy- just how you may imagine sleeping overnight in a library should feel! Everything is very thoughtfully and intentionally finished. We would have been happy spending the entire stay in the room, but did also venture up to the rooftop for evening cocktails by the fire and morning coffee overlooking Lake Michigan. So many restaurants and shops to explore nearby, and just steps away from the lake. We would love to visit again and will be recommending to all our friends. Thank you for honoring and sharing this space!"

"This is an awesome place, very clean, quiet, and spacious. The rooftop deck is nice, with great views, but too hot during the day in the summertime. The one thing to know is that, while there is parking, it is a block away and not easy to haul all your luggage if there’s no spot directly in front of the building. We were able to pay to park in front while unloading and loading, so it worked out great. The location is GREAT! Walking distance to the main street with shops and food. Not a bad walk to the beach either if you don’t mind walking up and down the hill. I would highly recommend this place for its cleanliness, location, and great communication from the owner."

"We had a wonderful stay. My sister and I came up from Florida and our cousin from the Chicago area was able to come and meet us.It was the perfect location. We walked to all the shops as well as an art gallery where we enjoyed the use of all their crafting materials. It was so much fun!We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoyed the little community garden across the street.The house was spotless and very well maintained.The beds/pillows were very comfortable.I will say that if you are elderly, I'm 65, and have issues with Balance, the bathtub/shower is a bit tricky to get in and out of. There is a had bar outside that helps.Highly recommend!"
