"Stunning room in an amazing location right next to Nara koen. We had a room for three, spacious and modern. Only regret is we could only stay one night. Will definitely return to stay longer!"

"I really love that the staff was so nice. The rooms were very very clean. I was also able to enjoy a private Hanson. I have lots of tattoos so it was nice to be able to go into one. I also have a 15-year-old son who wanted to try and on and really wasn’t prepared for the whole experience if you know what I mean. So he went into the private one as well. It is perfectly located and I actually love that town. I had a really good time. The people are so sweet."

"The hotel was the least “commercial” of the places we stayed in our 11-day trip to Japan. It was smaller and a little more quaint. We appreciated the little bags with the hotel name on them into which we could put selected amenities. The hotel’s location was wonderful— just steps from the Nara Park, as well as lots of little shops and eateries. Staff were polite and helpful. The Onsen wasn’t our thing— I had used them as a college student and am too self- conscious (and traveling with a 13 year old daughter). Our shower only stayed on for increments of about 30 seconds, which seemed odd… I thought it might be a water-saving measure but would have liked to understand it better. Otherwise, I can’t complain. We had a wonderful (albeit short) visit to Nara! The hotel is cute, location is great, and staff are helpful !"

"Amazing hotel that will treat you like royalty. The food is first-class. It is definitely out of the way from the fray. Shuttle will take you to/from the train station. Used a cab twice to get back to hotel as you cannot walk to the hotel. Wish they had a gym. The penthouse suite view and amenities were phenomenal. Would recommend to anyone visiting Nara and wanting a relaxing stay."
