"Our room was immaculately clean and equipped with a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom is renovated and big. Nellie at the front desk was helpful with beach info and did a nice job replenishing breakfast items. Breakfast is good- yogurt, cereal, toast, cheese, cake, bananas, boiled eggs, juice, milk, coffee and tea. I would definitely return."

"I have been using the Old House aș Mt Comox mid-island base over the yesrs and happy to see that their service level is getting better all the time. Nice well cared property and having a full kitchen and a washer/dryer in the apartment have been a big deciding factor for choosing them repeatedly."

"The property has a beautiful ocean view. The place is comfortable and well equipped. There are various things for use for outside and inside entertainment. There are beach chairs and blankets which was helpful. There is an access to a really interesting beach below. The pullout bed isn’t great and there are skylights that don’t have any window coverings in the living room. The grounds around are natural but in some instances messy. Such as a pile of yard trimmings beside the rooms sitting area. The outside stairs just inside the gate are not safe and in need of repair. Over all we enjoyed our stay."

"The property was very nice - lots of space, big kitchen. Cute backyard. Some ants roaming around on patio but they kept outside. The pool was great! Would stay there again for sure!"

"We had a marvelous time on this beautiful property. Great location annexed the Royston waterfront trail and a close drive to Courtenay and Comox. Kate and Cleo were gracious and kind hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in all the art on the property. We will definitely try to return!"

"Beautiful oceanside setting. Quiet, clean, well managed mini resort. Our host, Carolyn, was super friendly and helpful. Hot tub offers amazing sunset and seal viewing. Lovely grounds to enjoy."
