"The staff was wonderful in helping set up special touches for our stay. The private onsen was spectacular, the room itself was clean and comfortable. This was our favorite stay during our honeymoon in Japan by far, we will be highly recommending this to friends and family. "

"Staffs are helpful and friendly. One staff even help my wife to carry her luggage down the staircase as she was walking along the same way. Room are clean. We have a pleasant stay at the hotel. "
"A beautiful property. Traditional Japanese with a boutique feel. Very comfortable and clean.
We received a spacious room with 2 beds. The room has a seating area with sofa. Note that the bathroom is shared with others but we never had any problem with availability or location. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, tea kettle, a few pots and plates as well as a small oven and microwave and fridge. We used the kitchen for small meals.
The location is very walkable and right opposite the spot where tourists camp out to take photos of Fujisan but our stay was very quiet as the house was tucked back from the lobby area.
It is a very convenient location to the Pagoda (25 mins walk) and the shrine at the trailhead of Mt. Fuji (about 20-30 mins walk). We walked everywhere but the hotel has a bicycle rental service as well (very reasonable at 500 jpy).
We would definitely return to stay with this hostel again"
"Wonderful little hostel with extremely friendly staff. Great location. 15 minute walk from train station. 25 minute to walk from hostel to the top of Chureito Pagoda. Great value. Would stay here again for sure"
"The cleanliness couldn’t be better. All amenities one needs although very basic.
the (one man staff) could not have been better. Extremely helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. "
