This property is super noisy, the people cleaning in the morning have super loud speakers and the rooms are very close to the event place that it feels like you are at the event.

I booked this hotel for my parents. In my dad’s words it’s the best hotel they have stayed in. The staff all very friendly and helpful no complains from the parents. Said the hotel didn’t look much from the outside but the inside was lovely. They liked it so much they have said about going back and having me join them next time.

The Crossways, was ideally located for the places we wanted to visit in the area. A bonus was the lovely view of the countryside and Glastonbury Tor.The room was very spacious and comfortable.What really made our stay perfect was the helpful and friendly staff. Everyone we met were brilliant with a special mention to Prashant the restaurant manager, Lilia and Hani. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and will return soon.

Loved staying at The Crossways. Beautiful room with a huge comfortable bed and the food was great. Emailed ahead to say it was a special occasion and received a complimentary upgrade. Really great visit, will definitely come back again if I’m in the area.

This stay was fabulous. The facility was clean and well kept. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The dining on sight was very good and always an option for a meal when we at the hotel. The best part of our stay was the staff, they were extremely polite and attentive to any issues that we may be having.

Exceptional value for money, the room was huge and the service was great so many hotels ramping up there prices but I found this extremely fair we will be back for aure as it’s close to family.

Pretty & Cosy but dated
Rooms are spacious and well laid out but not very sound proof. Staff are friendly and helpful and food is nice but I found too much bone in my salmon and breakfast is not child friendly.

Dont choose this hotel EVER, they will insult you
It was the worst holiday i have experienced. First we were given 3 different types of rooms even though we paid for delux double, we were being given single rooms possibly and were told its double, the 3 rooms cost the same and yet were completely different sizes and type. The hotel could do nothing to make my stay comfortable, they were not accommodating at all. You can see in pictures, both these rooms are ‘delux doubles’ and cost a lot but the rooms are totally different, one is not delux at all. The hotel staff was extremely rude and not empathetic as we told them about any issues , the manager even made comments on our eating habits and how much we eat, leading to my partner feeling very ashamed and anxious, they did not serve our kid breakfast as they had ‘run out’ of what we asked, the staff was not remorseful about anything at all. Dont waste your money on this hotel, the views arent great, the rooms are too small, its too far from the city center which makes it even mor worthless.

Excellent Hotel for Celebration
We were on a girlie trip celebrating a friends Birthday and wanted to share a room that would accommodate us all. The hotel provided us with a fab family room which meant we all had a bed each- we were thrilled with this. We had decide to eat our evening meal at the hotel and were not disappointed either…from the excellent waitress service to the fact the portion size was so hearty that we were not able to eat it all.. quality of the sirloin steak was delicious cooked perfectly and the dessert was fabulous homemade pasty made by the chef- it was an apple tartlet in the shape of a rose and the clotted cream ice cream served with it, was absolutely gorgeous! Breakfast was included in price and a great selection from continental to Full English. The only issue is access and location. You need a car as it’s remote with no public transport and need not be to afraid to negotiate the narrow country lanes to reach it. But it’s worth it once you get there.

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming asking us about our journey. Quick walk around the village but there's not much there. Bed very comfortable and lots of storage space for bags, cases etc. Bathroom had a rainfall shower over the bath. Good got shower in a big bathroom. Heated towel rail and lots of towels. We had booked a meal which was delicious. The chocolate mousse was rich and perfect for a chocoholic. Venison tasty and husband enjoyed his pie. Breakfast the next day. You helped yourself to a continental style buffet, teas , coffees etc. We opted for porridge -without cream!- rather than a cooked breakfast which looked good. Good service throughout and lovely for a night away. Good base for Frome, Glastonbury and Clarks Village

Always a lovely stay here in regards to the actual hotel itself as it's in a beautiful location, nice and quiet and the rooms are overall lovely BUT, you are damned if you go there without a car as the taxi situation in the area is abysmal. Breakfast is lovely. But absilutely did NOT appreciate being right opposite a full family that were nothing short of loud both mornings of our stay and to add insult to injury, the cleaners were having an absolute BALL on the landing outside our room well before 9am in the morning (so loud) normally I really enjoy this hotel but because of the lack of sleep we were able to get before a big event and after we got back, not being able to sleep in because of all the noise was just ridiculous, it's really dampened my want to come back again now what with being put in a COMPLETELY different room to what we had booked (we didn’t even get dressing gowns in our room!) and the not being able to sleep in til at LEAST 9am because of other guests and staff members and then the taxi situation on top of that :(

This is evidently a party venue, so service for guests was spotty. Perhaps this is a convenient location for locals, but I wouldn’t chose it. The food was nothing special and the service was terrible. Our room was on the first floor and we were expected to lug our suitcases up a flight ourselves. It’s not really close to anyplace. It was a decent place to shower and lay down your head. The countryside is pretty, and I could imagine cyclists stopping here.
