"We recently spent a night while traveling from West Palm Beach to Aiken, SC. Great location just off I-95. And such a "sense of place". Authentic low country, huge live oak trees with Spanish moss, lovely water views as we walked around and charming cottages. Very comfortable bed and a great coffee station. Perfect for a couple and a dog for a night or a weekend getaway."

"This is just the perfect place! The host is so welcoming and the place is the decorated so wonderful. Plenty of room and felt so cozy. One of the best parts was the use of the golf cart as I got to really immerse myself in the community. The cart can be used to drive the area and see stunning views, go to the restaurants/live music/drinks/karoke/pool, etc. The local people knew where I was staying because of the golf cart and I was welcomed in and treated like I belonged. The host provided a very good guide to the local area that was very helpful. One of the better weekend getaways I have found and I highly recommend this anyone that loves nature and a simpler way of life, with the convenience of WiFi. "

"Could not be better! This house easily accommodated 4 generations with 2 private bedrooms on the main floor for the older folks and plenty of room upstairs for our kids and grandkids. A big bonus was the comfy screened-in porch with ample seating that overlooks the huge back yard - great for frisbee matches.This house is in a completely private setting but is convenient to a main road, which was perfect for our stay. Our host was very responsive and very thoughtful. This house and our lovely host made our week-long visit to Richmond Hill wonderful and carefree."

"This was the perfect place for us to spend our Christmas vacation. It is a clean home, well equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room and great outside porch. The beds were very comfortable. And it is very quiet. This is an easy walk to a corner store (closed for Christmas holidays) and bar (Yacht Club) with restaurant. One day we rented a golf cart and visited the Post Office, Lighthouse, R J Reynolds Mansion and Nanny Goat beach.Communication with host is perfect...Steve was quick to respond to all questions. We highly recommend Barbara Bailey for catering. The slow country boil was our favorite followed by ribs and chicken. "
