Excellent
An excellent base for us to visit nearby family. Communication was very easy with the owner, with a very warm welcome on arrival. Lovely and warm and comfortable in beautiful surroundings.

Love this place
A lovely self contained annexe in a gorgeous setting Everything you could need for a comfortable stay, very well-equipped, and the hosts are amazing- so welcoming We have stayed before and would definitely stay again Highly recommended

Perfect
We loved loved loved staying here. Everything we needed was supplied and more. This was just a couple of nights to see if my autistic son could stay away from home, and to visit with friends. He enjoyed it so much that we will definitely be back, but for longer next time. Such a lovely place, lovely, quiet and peaceful even though it is situated off a busy road. I can’t praise this enough, we loved it. Such lovely owners too. We were left alone to enjoy our time there, knowing the owners were on hand if we needed them. This is just the perfect place for visiting friends in Sheffield. We will definitely visit again soon.

Second visit
We happily returned to this generously sized property set in a large garden adjacent to woods and fields. A very comfortable home from home. Delightful to see and hear a wide variety of bird life. The hosts are particularly welcoming but also non-intrusive. Thank you.

Beautiful Spacious Convenient Property

Peaceful stay on the outskirts of Sheffield
We had a delightful stay at Fernbank Suite.Very comfortable,well appointed, spacious, clean and warm. An ideal setting twixt the interesting city of Sheffield and the beauty of the Peak District. Whilst there it snowed heavily but this did not stop our enjoyment, we appreciated relaxing in the sunny conservatory and exercising our dog in the snow covered fields. Our hosts, Ann and Bob were very welcoming and their friendliness complimented our stay. We hope to return in the summer.

Property as advertised, great communication from hosts. Lovely Gardens. Only one minor criticism is the low power of the shower. Overall a lovely stay.

Home from home
Our trip was in order to help out with our new granddaughter and the property was 10 minutes drive, so ideal! Lovely accommodation and had everything we needed. Comfortable, huge bed and comfortable lounge to relax in. Lots of space outside to walk our dogs and we were informed in advance of the roads bordering the property. Very easy booking, excellent communication from the owners with very easy access. We went to our sons first so we’re quite late arriving but the owners came out to greet us and even helped hubby to unload our car!! Doesn’t get much better! We would definitely stay again, hopefully able to spend a little more time at the property and utilise the slow cooker…😊

Totally fabulous
Absolutely lovely property, so well-equipped, like a home from home, everything you could need. Lovely friendly hosts, great welcome and it's in a lovely setting. Would stay here again in a flash, in fact it's the only place we would consider when we're next here to visit our family. Dog friendly too!

Halloween
We stayed here for a weekend to go to our son’s 50th Halloween birthday party as it was near where we wanted to be. The annex was great, clean and more spacious than we expected with a large comfortable bed. All the little extras (shampoo, body wash etc) were much appreciated. We hope to return again and would recommend it.

The property was really lovely. Arrived late so dark and was really hard to find. Was given no real directions as to where it was on Penistone road. No contact number issued for owners so we could not call to clarify. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Great Accommodation!
Our hosts were so welcoming and had thought of everything you could possibly need whilst staying here. The property is lovely, very homely and very spacious. Myself, my mum and our Golden Retriever loved staying here and made good use of the extensive gardens and fields! Highly recommend.

This property has everything you could possibly want, lovely place, lovely area, lovely setting and fabulous hosts. We were made so welcome, it really was like a home from home and we will definitely go back there.

Home from home on edge of city
Our hosts were delightful and welcoming and made sure we had all we needed and more. The quality of the accommodation was superb. Access to the garden was especially appreciated due to the variety of birds one can see and hear. On our next visit we will definitely bring our dog who will love it. Highly recommended.

Spacious and comfortable accommodation
There was plenty of room for the 2 of us in this self-contained suite of rooms, nice and warm and everything you need. Well equipped kitchen and thoughtful welcome parcel of milk, juice, cookies and cereal. Lots of friendly communication with the owners including directions which you need to identify the property from the pretty busy main road.

We would highly recommend a stay in Fernbank House Suite; it's a lovely property, with lots of outside space next to beautiful woodland. Annie and Bob are very friendly and attentive hosts.

Excellent location
Excellent location for city break in Sheffield or Peak District getaway. Great for dogs with plenty of outdoor space and nearby walks. Annie and Bob were attentive and friendly hosts. Will definitely be back!

A Perfect Bolthole.
Annie and Bob are a lovely, very approachable and most accommodating couple, who keep an exceptionally clean and very comfortable home from home, an annexe to their bungalow. Check-in instructions were very clear and we had no sooner arrived then we were unpacking our suitcases and enjoying a much appreciated welcome pack - which is unrivalled in any place we have stayed previously - biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and milk and during our stay, two surprise slices of delicious birthday cake. We have no qualms saying we shall be returning in the future and "Thank-you so very much, we had a great time Annie and Bob!"
