"Host was great and friendly. House was clean and was “child friendly”. Just happened to have my grandkids (2-6 yrs) there and had no worries. Yard is great for family, and had all the kitchen “stuff” you needed for any meal. Would recommend it for any family for a fun stay in South Fork/Del Norte/Creede."

"We stayed at Spruce Lodge many years ago and they have made many updates since. The room was clean and spacious and we really enjoyed the gazebo out front in the morning/evening for meals and also for visiting with other guests."

"The stay at this historic building was very nice and quiet. The breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage. One morning there was even fresh biscuits. Since the building is historic, the rooms were very quiet, you couldn't hear other people in the room next door. We would stay at this location again."
