Mellow Moon Lodge

"The room was very basic...no closet, no safe, no dresser. But the queen sized bed was comfortable, although it was in a small niche so it was a little hard to get in and out. The air conditioning was almost too good. The remote needed to be pointed directly at the unit or it wouldn't change the temperature. A sign posted about that would have been helpful, as would have an extra blanket. Some of the outlets were not working, but the management fixed the "breaker" once I reported it. She was very attentive, responding quickly to texts. Check-in and out was very easy. There was a breakfast place next store which provided free coffee for guests of the motel and also some basic food for a low cost ,(breakfast burritos, yogurt, etc). Free parking was provided. The location was a couple of blocks from the downtown area and very close the music festival (Rhythms on the Rio) which we were attending. The room price was a little high, but I think that was because of the music festival."

"The property really shows its age, but it was super clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable. There is no one on site, but they have good communication through text, email, and their website. We had no issues and it was easy to get checked in on line."

"The room was clean, and there was a coffee maker with a couple snacks. There is a microwave and small refrigerator for drinks, and in our case leftovers. There is plenty parking, and they do allow pets, but only in two of the rooms."
