"The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious (slightly cramped while they’re under construction but it was manageable), staff were very kind and personable. Cost of parking is a bit of a bummer but would still recommend."

"Our host Mike was very nice and helped us with check in as we were not familiar with Wyze. He even helped carry some of our heavy bags which we really appreciated. The place was convenient to many of the venues we needed to be. The beds were very comfortable and the house was charming. We enjoyed our stay very much!"

"Over all, it was a good stay and I would stay there again. Sadly, we were a late arrival and there was a mix-up in rooms. We were "transferred" to a room that had not been completely cleaned. The bathmat looked as though it had not been washed and was in poor condition. Only some of the towels had been replaced. The tag on the door said "Unfinished". One of the bottles in the shower was empty. We were tired, we didn't care ... the beds were clean and made up. The night staff was very helpful, but a little better communication between Housekeeping, afternoon shift, and evening shift would have made the check-in a much smoother process."

"Quite fairly recently pleasantly remodeled, outside and inside. The only issue was the electrical outlets are worn out and need replacing to make certain they can hold a phone and camera charger. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again."

"Everything in the unit is first class all the way..the beds are comfortable the sheets were so soft, night stands all have USB charging and power outlets. TV in master bedroom, living room and kitchen, streaming service availability just sign in to your account. The air conditioning was controlled by a modern thermostat and the Faux Fireplace in living room was a nice touch. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need.. including a k-cup coffee maker with a nice variety of coffee and tee. We had our meals around a nice hightop table while listening to Spotify on the TV...The bathroom was very functional with lighted mirrors and a four position shower, with shampoo, bath soap and conditioner supplied. The only thing we thought was strange was no closet in the master bedroom so we used the living room closet and we had to buy some cheap hangers but I'm sure the host would have brought us some had we asked, anytime we saw the host they were very friendly and always asked was there anything we needed. And we expected the steep stairs as described in the listing online..nicely lighted stairwell with metal handrails and guest keypad made it manageable. The sunsets were nice while sitting on the balcony off the kitchen. So I can't say enough how impressed we were with the Country Retreat."
