"This listing on Hotels.com does not properly express the true nature of the hotel. Granted the location is very good, but the hotel is an older facility. The carpets in the room smell, the place is dingy and old looking, the staff is nice but some of them are inattentive. I booked the hotel not only for the location, but because it indicated that it has a a pool, a hot tub, and a gym. The gym is basic but good for a workout. The pool is OK, but the water was too cold. It would have helped if the water was heated a bit. But, the worse part of the whole deal is that the hot tub was not heated at all. I booked the hotel because I have a bad back and I wanted to use the hot tub after my meetings. One good thing is that there is gathering area near the pool. They do allow smoking and even cigar smoking which is great. I smoke cigars. But, the area was filthy - crap everywhere. They have grills for cooking which is great - but again, crap everywhere. Bottom line - the hotel is your typical Third World owned enterprise with people who simply do not care. I am disappointed with Hotels.com and will never book with them again. Thank you. "

"I would not recommend staying at this property. It is apparent the rooms need to be upgraded. Website states room has utensils, cooking and dinnerware. It did not. Further only 1 towel per bathroom was provided. No trashcans in bathroom. The tubs appear to need refinishing. TVs did not work. When I spoke to manager I was told the dishes were on order but they did not know when they would arrive. The towels were being washed and she would said maintenance to check tvs.maintenance never came that day. Next day I went to talk to manager again told her we never got the items I requested nor did maintenance arrive. Maintenance person did come.AC filter was so dirty and wrong size which is why it was most likely not working. He brought a trash can, broom and filter. He did replace filter, fixed tv. Ceiling fan was so full of dirt couldn’t even use as most likely all that dirt would go into air.the switch for the fan was missing only had the plastic screw part which most likely would need pliers to grab to turn it on. Did not get cookware or dinnerware utensils. I had to go to Walmart and buy items so I could use the stove to cook. No paper towels provided either in kitchen. The door lock is so old and the door did not shut tightly it’s obvious the door had been repaired as they used a metal plate by lock to try and get it tight however it did not. I told mgr my reservation had been made a 9 days in advance they had plenty of time to ensure the room was adequately prepared. "

"The area was sketchy and hotel was run down. The wasn’t clean and no amenities to speak of. Cheap price but obviously you get what you pay for. "

"Upon arrival we were told there was no longer a room for us because the ceiling fell in. The hotel did not attempt to contact us at any time. The staff member on duty basically told me that when he got to work no one had done anything about our situation and we were lucky he decided to act and got us a room down the street. We chose this hotel after much research for a 2 bedroom suite and it was replaced with a 2 bed in 1 room. This was unacceptable as was the supposed $50 discount at the new room. I messaged the hotel and asked for an immediate phone call. I received an email the next day from the manager of the hotel we were moved to not the hotel that never bothered to contact us. I do not recommnend this hotel. "
