"As advertised... Relaxing spot by the water. Great place to relax and reset. Cozy turnkey cabin (Birch). Outdoor, hot tub heated by fire, was a gem. The only drawback, wood required to use it must be procured."
Osprey Nest Lakefront -sleeps 12, close to village
10/10 Excellent
"We were not there much because we had a family wedding on Saturday, but we did enjoy the peacefulness and the view of the lake as well as a well supplied cottage my only complaint was the coffee pot. It needs to have some vinegar run through it because it’s quite clogged up and took forever to make coffee other than that. Everything was great."
Le Temps Perdu: 88 Acre Wilderness Park between Historic Westport and Perth
10/10 Excellent
"Tracey and Hernan are top notch people, and they offered us a lovely place to relax. An 80 acre farm where you can walk through well maintained trails to see their lovely horses and nature. The hosts are there if you need anything, always helpful, and cordial. The cabin its cozy and beautiful! It has an amazing and secluded deck area to relax, and play with their friendly cats. Its a beautiful well maintained place, and we loved there. Thank you Tracey and Hernan for your hospitality and your nice and thoughtful gifts. Silvia, and Peter St. Pierre "
"We would love to know the history of this home, over 100yrs old. We experienced something at our night time fire, and would like to know the original owners. The old farmhouse has lots of characters which we loved. My own home is 117yrs old, so we experience the same and respect it. We found a large cat print after a rain at the step at the water, do you know what type of cat that was? The beds were very comfortable! We didn't bring any basics like sugar or spices, just to let others know they need to bring these. Had a great time fishing off the dock, it was small fish for catch and release but fun! Didn't use the bbq's, better to have them on the upper deck for cleanliness, too many bugs/spiders, not my cup of tea lol. We had a 5hr drive but worth it for the view. It is for sale, I hope the future owners keep it available for renting "
