"Staff was great! Location fantastic! Property a little dated in areas. Flooring on hallways and bedrooms is dated feeling a little dirty if walking in room with something on your feet. Bathroom vanity appeared stained from previous uses. Need a little attention to cleanliness. Breakfast decent. Would consider staying again. "

"We had a wonderful stay and everything was absolutely perfect. The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The pool was a huge advantage and, in our opinion, a must-have in this area because the ocean can sometimes have very strong waves. It was great to have the option to relax and swim at the house whenever we wanted.We especially appreciated the housekeeping service during our stay, including the cleaning and fresh linen change. This level of care made our vacation even more comfortable.The hosts were attentive and responsive, and we truly felt at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.The beachfront restaurant nearby was one of the highlights of our trip. It is by far the best place for lunch and dinner in the area. The food was consistently excellent, the seafood was fresh, and the ocean views made every meal special. We found ourselves returning several times during our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"This turned out to be perfect for our mixed family group of 13.Booking was easy and communication with Ana (host) was excellent throughout. She was immensely helpful and provided good information and recommendations that were all great.When we arrived, it did feel as though some bits were a bit tired and could do with updating. The kitchen surfaces were a bit sticky but easily solved with giving them a good clean. However once we settled in, the villa really suited us. Bedrooms and bathrooms as described were comfortable and good. The communal spaces were large with lots of dining space and the kitchen well equipped despite our initial misgivings. 2 large fridge freezers served us well. The pool was brilliant and got lots of use. We did think that the area around the pool could be expanded somewhat so that could have more sunbeds - on 3 sides potentially.Outdoor eating space and barbecue got used well and was fine for us but probably not for a bigger group. The garden could do with a tidy up and create much more usable family space. It's a potential opportunity. There was loads of parking space.All in all we had an excellent holiday. Any minor criticism is meant to be helpful.Ana even recommended a local cook who came in to cook a traditionally Portuguese 75th birthday meal. We loved it.Lastly, well positioned with many excellent supermarkets, only a 10 minute drive to Sesimbra and 20 minutes to the lovely west coast."

"This is an absolutely delightful boutique hotel. The host, Mario was so accommodating and considerate. The rooms are beautiful, and the grounds offer opportunities to relax in different spaces - poolside, gardens, private patio or shared interior lounge. If you are seeking quiet and a restorative environment this is ideal. Wifi is available but was weak in our room (3) which supported turning off connectivity and focusing on the moment. There’s a small fridge and safe in the room. The resident cat is charming as are the interiors - whimsical decor and abundant plants with lots of light and air flow. The simple breakfast was delicious and Mario was so kind to get it set up for us earlier so we could leave to catch our flight from Lisbon. It is a rural property so be aware that a car is needed to seek out meals but the nearby beach is a ten minute drive away and has a beautiful restaurant with a patio perfect for watching the sunset. "
