"Ryokan’s kaiseki dinner was finely executed and delicious. Ryokan has a “lion “ dance show in evening for guests, a bonus. Room size was smaller than we expected but adequate. Location was okay as apart from some stores around the square, there was nothing else around the area. "

"We enjoyed being able to watch the river as we bathed in the open air bath. Plenty of amenities provided, staff was super friendly and helpful, and room was lovely and spacious. Japanese breakfast was huge and delicious and it was wonderful to try some regional specialities."

"Lovely getaway for an authentic Japanese Onsen bathing experience. The suite room was gorgeous and came with a private bath which was very worth it for me ! Many delicious local restaurant options nearby too. Staff knew enough English to get us settled. Highly recommend for 1-2 nights as part of your trip. "

"The staff and the accommodation itself was lovely. I got to the hotel early and paid about $7 dollar U.S. to get a room early. They have free ramen offered for an hour at night. The bath/hot spring was just what I needed. The staff was helpful and respectful. Would absolutely stay here again. Struggled with putting on the A/c and a staff member cleaning another room came to save the day!"

"This is a brand new hotel (finished in 2024) in a block that was also built around the same time. There are a number of options for food and entertainment around the station, and this is a great hotel to stay at if you’re planning to go to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. "This was my first hotel in Japan. Great value for the quality of the stay. The location has plenty to offer in a walkable distance, including close proximity to the Shinkansen (bullet train). I staid here to be able to visit Daihonzan Eiheiji. The bus to Eiheiji temple is at the transportation center where the Shinkansen and other trains depart. "
