"Excellent stay Lovely hotel with onsen baths"

"Very good place and hospitality. "

"Good Service, good staffs, good meals, everything is good"

"I have tried my best to contact the property via different means, including email them, message them via Expedia and contact via the Expedia agent, But they didn’t respond at all!!!!"

"We arrived to find a hotel that had misplaced our reservation, that could either be their fault or the fault of Travelocity. When we were finally escorted to a room, it was run down and filthy. There were stains on the walls and doors, the hallways had a faint smell of disuse and mildew, it was entirely unpleasant. Now, I'm well aware that we had selected this place because of its lower room rates (compared to the other onsen in the area), but truth be told, the price wasn't that much lower...

"スタッフさんの対応は良かったと思います。"

"ネットや施設情報では21時30分まで夕食時間と書いており、２０時５分に着くと予約状況で営業時間を早めたと言われ２０時までで食べれなかった。予約状況等で営業時間が変わるなら前日までに何かしら連絡が欲しかった。常識的に１時間３０分も一方的にに早めるのは異常だと思う。勧められた店に家族４人自費で食べに行き、しっかりと夕食付きのプラン料金取るなんて詐欺だと思った。"

"This was such an amazing room with everything you could possibly need. The private onsen was beautiful. They left complimentary drinks and PJ's too. Our only regret was that we only stayed 1 night. "

"It was very clean. The room and facilities were beautifully kept and very new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However we were surprised at the extra charges for two futons for our children at ¥3000 a piece as well as the ¥3000 late arrival fee, which made it much more expensive than we originally thought. Also, we would have liked to have booked one of the other rooms via Expedia, but it said that none were available on our date however, upon arrival, we were the only guest there so he...

"A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. The building interior was like a maze with beautiful objects and resting places all around and overlooking the garden."

"Yes"

"Very nice staff and helpful "

"Nice hot spring."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this countryside onsen hotel. They offer a shuttle pickup from the nearby Shinkansen station, but since I had a rental car, I drove myself. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The property conveniently features an EV/Tesla charger, though the rooms still use traditional physical keys instead of keycards - which I actually preferred! Overall, it was a great stay. Out of my 10-day trip across Japan, this place remains one of my favorite memories."

"The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel is clean and in a very convenient location."

"古いながらも清潔感と趣があり、食事も品数が多く、大満足でした。 スタッフの方にも親切にしていただきました。"

"A nice stop over while road tripping from Kyoto to Shirakawa. Very friendly staff, good stores within a few blocks to stock up on amenities."

"Perhaps there is a Dinosaur museum at the same county, decoration at the first floor full of color of dinosaurs, and a big in door playground, kids definitely love it. There are free rental badminton racket, tennis racket, and even bicycle for guest. Onsen are comfortable with total of 4 choices (for man). Overall family friendly stay over."

"The facilty is old & the room smelled of cigarettes, but everything else was wonderful. If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area. "

"Great stay. Enjoyed the private Spa."
