"Friendly staff, close to grocery, fast food, bank etc. close to lake keowee. Could have been cleaner, our feet were dirty just walking on the floor barefoot and trying to wipe water off the floor after coming in from the pool turned the towel brown, so the floors were definitely not getting mopped between guests. We were on ground level and came out after dark and the amount of spiders and spiderwebs kept us from walking out there the following night 😆 someone needs to take a broom around. But overall it was a reasonable price and place to stay. If it was cleaned/better maintained I wouldn't have had anything negative to say."

Beautiful large family home with dock on Lake Keowee!

10/10 Excellent
"Large lake house with a beautiful view. We took 16 people (8 adults & 8 children 2-12yr) and had room for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Had to run the dishwasher twice a day for everyone. Had plenty of plates but sometimes we had to wash forks and spoons. Plenty of lake towels. Comes with one bath towel, hand towel and washcloth per person. Two washing machines and dryers there! They had a highchair and pack n play at the house.Games were a great plus. Early risers could play in the garage - ping pong & foosball table. Downstairs had large chess, foosball, pool table, large connect four and corn hole. Has two refrigerators which was wonderful! We cook all our meals so fridge space is a necessity.Back sun porch had a large table and chairs. We were able to eat our meals together out there. It got a little warm but there were two box fans at the house. We rented a boat from High Rock - boat was older and cover leaked. (We had rain every day.) We got a tube but it was only good for two people. Boat wasn’t as good as we expected. (Large tri-toon that held 18)Swimming from the dock was great! Would suggest you bring life jackets and floats to use. House is in a cove and you don’t have to stress as much about boat traffic. Has kayaks and canoes. We used the kayaks a lot. Only two kayak paddles. It is about 20-25 minutes to grocery/walmart.Overall - it was a great week! Wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. Scott was great to communicate with."

"Very well- equipped and appointed accommodations. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was lovely and added extra touches unique and special to our stay. The yard was lovely and in bloom. We spent most of our time on the wonderful screened in porch or out on the dock enjoying the kayaks on the lake and watching the sunsets. It had everything we needed for a lovely get away-Highly recommend!"
