"If there was a sign at the front that would have helped. Also we didn't get any body wash which was a little bit annoying. There were also some tiles in both bathrooms that needed fixing as well as the showerhead in the main shower. Other than that we loved our stay at Silky Oak Cottage, many thanks"

"RidgeView is in a very quiet location, surrounded by bush and vineyards. This is the perfect place to escape the business of life and relax among the trees with a glass of wine. Our kids enjoyed the pool, which surprisingly was a decent size."

"Good little property that is tucked away behind the vineyards in the Hunter with friendly horses on the property. They did not look like Clydesdales though. Good out door area for dogs to run and play and enclosed indoor dining area as shelter from the rain. The decor and property was a bit dated and lacked enough kitchen ware for the number of guests we booked for. If the property is updated a bit more, we would certainly return on a regular basis as the location suited our liking."

"Absolute bliss and would not hesitate to recommend this property for anyone who wishes to escape the pace and noise of life. It would be impossible to not slow down and smell the fresh mountain air. All the wildlife and visiting farm animals added to the experience. The night sky was so incredible. Stars forever. "Absolutely loved our stay! Great views, breathtaking sunsets as we sipped our wine and sat around the fire playing boardgames. My furbaby was in absolute heaven. A tiny recommendation would be to upgrade tech like TV, get new movie titles, provide wifi and a basic welcome basket maybe. Other than that, the hosts were so easy to communicate with and helpful. "This was our third stay and we will be coming back again. The cottage was excellent and Dom has everything you need on hand for breakfast to the bread machine and a bottle of port to warm you up, he also has the log fire prepared for you to light when ready. Nothing like sitting in a warm spa under the stars it a must "

"This property is right in the heart of the Hunter. The staff at Oakvale, including Jess at the Vinyard were really amazing. If you want to wander down for a wine tasting, or sit on the balcony for a wine it is a great property for that. It is small though and once some of you have retired for the night, everyone will need to stay quiet. We got lot of texts reminding us to not party, and to stay quiet in the property, but we didn't even have the TV up loud late at night. This was fine for a...
