Great Apt!
This basement apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Seattle. Possibly the cleanest VRBO we've stayed in, the bed is super comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped to create all kinds of meals if needed. Loved it, hope to be back sometime!

Nice little place
Cute apartment. It is a basement apartment with the owners upstairs. I somehow didn’t grasp initially that this was a house basement apartment. But it’s very well done. You can hear people above you but no more than you would in a hotel and they’re polite people that care about whether or not they bother you so I didn’t find it an issue. Nicely done kitchen. Location is nice and quiet with market around the corner and walking/biking path a block and a half away. Would come back.

Wonderful place in great location
We spent four nights in the hawthorn hills apartment. The location is great, I love that there was a grocery store one block away. The apartment was beautiful! Newly remodeled, spotless, well stocked with linens, bedding, cookware, etc. There was plenty of space, and the sofa was amazingly comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Even better than the pictures
Sandra's unit was super clean with a lot of thoughtful touches and attention to detail. It looked better in person than in the photos! We appreciated how clean and quiet it was (you're in the downstairs area and can hear some noises above, but nothing loud or disturbing) and how convenient her location is. You're a 3 minute walk from the metro market and Yummy cafe and there's plenty of street parking if you have a car. I met the hosts in person and they were lovely and accommodating people. I'll definitely be staying here again!

Amazing Stay!
The house was easy to locate & get inside with my own code. When we arrived I was surprised how big the place was! It was like staying on the bottom floor of a large luxury apartment. Sandra truly is a super host! She went above & beyond to think of everything you could possibly need. We had an amazing stay & would come back again!

Clean and Recently Renovated
Great stay! Sandra’s basement apartment is very clean, and it was perfect for a short stay in Seattle. Nice to have a Met Market in walking distance, and also nice to be so close to UW’s campus. Street parking was super easy to find as well. Will certainly be back.

Very nice remodeled 1 bedroom
Everything was very nice inside the well appointed apartment, very clean. Beautiful place The only problem was the noise from the house above. which was unfortunate.

Cynthia. I’m sorry your experience wasn’t what you expected. When we remodeled the house last year we put sound dampening insulation between the floors and in the walls and used sound resistant sheet rock as well. We do our best to not make excessive noise and very rarely is there an issue but sometimes noise travels and I’m sorry this bothered you.

When we saw the listing we wondered if it was too good to be true. But everything plus exceeded our expectations! Recently upgraded, this property is very nicely appointed. The owner’s attention to detail was excellent to the point a mint on the pillow at night would not have surprised us. With the Metropolitan Market right around the corner, we didn't cook. Although a bit pricey the Met has a full hot and cold food bar. However, should you choose to cook, the kitchen at this property is fully equipped with nice accessories, not Walmart stuff. So, if you're looking for a nice place that is truly affordable by Seattle standards as compared to the blasé pricey hotel-fare this is the place for you!

Very nice, spacious place to stay
Very nicely updated suite with all amenities we required. Accomodated an early check in because Sandra was able to. Really appreciated a snack basket for us on arrival. Sandra has set out a nice info booklet on restaurants, coffee shops etc in their area so we knew what was walkable. Street parking was readily available right in front on iur weekend stay. Would definitely return again. Thanks Sandra.

Loved It!
The basement apartment was lovely and was close to the Metropolitan Market to grab some groceries. Neighborhood is super safe and parking was really easy. The sectional sofa was really comfortable! My husband has a bad back and he didn’t have any complaints. Close access to Burke Gilman trail which is an easy mile walk to the U Village for good shopping and restaurants. I’m originally from Seattle and come back often. This will be the top of my list to stay at! Until next time!

Too brief a stay
Great location. Very clean, comfortable place to stay. It was ideal for our visit which was connected to an event at Magnussen Park. Communication with the owner was easy and friendly.

Beautiful basement apartment
If you come at night, the address is difficult to see. Black on brown post. A guest book with tips on how to use TV remote and ac would be helpful. I'm not sure if there is a door at top of inside stairs, but you can hear conversations upstairs. If host walked on front of feet instead of heels, that would cut down noise as well. There is not always parking on street.

The property was a 4 minute walk from my in-laws, it was my husband & 18 year old son and I , and it was exactly what we needed. nice garden all the amenities, clean we would stay there again!
