Great location and if you’re going out on the town until the wee hours - perfect. But a bit noisy for light sleepers if you want to get to sleep before 1am.
Booked but they never lefts the keys. Poor service
I booked this hotel. They never left the keys when I turned up to pick them. I called them and emailed and have never had a response to my emails. Simply terrible. Yet they insist that they left the keys and have still charged me the cost of the room. Totally appalling service. I will not book again
this was the worst ever accommodations Ive ever had, dirty room dirty unclean ashtrays, hair in the bathroom, cupboards dirty messy and unusable, dirty teapot, smelly room, broken toilet brush, half a toilet roll no back up, sticky bench tops...a complete disgrace...its turned me off ever using wotif again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Shambles
We arrived at 5pm from the airport. The office shuts at 4.30 so you have to go to a locker at a separate location from the hotel (some 15 mins away) and collect the key. Our key wasn't there. Miraculously a member of staff was walking past and baffled by the whole thing left me stood on the street 25 mins while she got the key. Some story about the cleaner not replacing it. Great, now the trek with all our luggage to the apartment. We then found upon getting into the room it was already occupied. Totally mortified. So I called up for help, another 30 mins wait and they turn up with a key to a totally other venue.
Still it was a clean decent room for a couple of nights. It has a terrible view of the car park and high way. Not the waterfront we thought we'd paid for. The wifi details didn't work. Managed to connect to another network but it wasnt very good. The TV was super small for the room. They don't freshen the room between nights which was disappointing.
Great location but a little noisy from the bars below. Loads of bars and restaurants on the quay area.
Worst check-in arrangements we have ever seen. We were expected to pick up the key from an office 15 minutes walk away! The agent did finally agree to send someone to let us in!
Housekeeping wasn't too impressive and some basics were missing (such a washing up liquid).
WiFi didn't work so I was invited to buy a freedom internet subscription and send the agent the bill.
Got the impression they were still finding out how to let the place,
However despite the problems it is a great location and good value for money by Auckland standards!
