This hotel has very nice, large and well-appointed rooms and the overall condition of the property is first-rate. On my visit, however, the hotel was undergoing renovations that closed or curtailed many of the advertised amenities that sold me on the property when I booked my room (restaurant, bar, gift shop all closed). The hotel is not walkable to the city's top visitor attractions and the restaurant selection in the immediate area is not great - although it has 1 or 2 gems. If you don't have a car and are not adept at public transportation, prepare for $20 cost per ride for cabs/rideshare services to get to key attractions and factor that into your travel budget before choosing this over a higher priced but more convenient location. All that aside, this is a very nice choice if you want to be in the Seattle Center area. My one prevailing complaint concerns the hotel's policy around temporary luggage storage. On checkout, we wanted to store two small items for 2-3 hours before our train departure time. The desk clerk informed me that they could store my bags but I first had to download an app called "bounce" and pay $15 for an amenity that has always been free of charge in my experience. Faced with the choice of that or hauling my possessions around a somewhat barren area of Seattle all afternoon I agreed - but I don't understand why, if there must be a fee, it has to be so much (at least for hotel guests) and why this is not advertised to guests upfront.

This was one of the best experiences I've had traveling. The staff was key to making an out of towner feel right at home. From Dexter greeting me when I got there and being amazing, the hotel cleaning staff was great. Barry and his crew were on it with dining. Edna and Kayla are KEY to making your hotel stay delightful. I loved how safe and secure the establishment was! I love that they lock the car garage, and when it gets dark they require a key card to get into the hotel! I loved the complimentary breakfast as well. Staff were super nice.

The customer service was Phenomenol! Breakfast was great. The building and our room was totally clean. Our room needs were met by staff, even at 4pm. It was an all around lovely experience. Most of all. We were allowed to check in 5 Hours Early, with No Problem! We were in our room, on the 7th floor, litterally about 4 minutes after walking through the door. Thanks Hyatt Place. R.
