"High Tide Inn is a magical place! The innkeeper Mark is knowledgeable about the area and is very personable. He also makes amazing blueberry muffins as well as turnovers! Find time for breakfast, a walk on the beach and relaxing on the patio. A short distance for the village of Camden and Camden state park. Take a moment to give $6 to the state park and drive to the summit. Amazing views. You won’t be disappointed with your stay at High Tide Inn. "

"This property was in such a great location for our needs. After checking-in, there were a number of restaurants within walking distance and a yummy ice cream shop just down the street. We had a gorgeous view of the Penobscot River and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge which is lit up at night. We lucked out with being there for Bucksport's yearly festival. My kids loved the bouncy houses and shopping at the vendor's tents. We were able to walk right out of our room to see the fireworks that evening. Side note: reviewers mention the outdated comforters, but you can ignore those comments. This is a historic hotel with a certain style. The bedspreads have large flowers, but they are not old."

"The breakfast was excellent! Loved that it was right in the middle of Camden, walking distance to all of the little shops, the harbor, and lots of dining options. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My family loved the delicious chocolate chips cookies in the lobby. Loved the charm of the older details of the hotel but was still very spacious and clean. "
