Charming wood edge cottage by a mushroom farm. Comfortable floor plan offers a healthy, safe and relaxing vacation. Wake up in the morning by birds singing,. Remember to close the front door when you go outside otherwise our squirrels may come in asking for dinner without an invitation. Fed by mountain spring , the very local and organic fresh mushroom of Blue Hill is a delicacy to try. And before the black baby bear takes them all, go pick some blueberry and raspberry when in season. You are in nature and you will love here!

Beautiful, cozy, tranquil cabins, only 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park
Thank you Poly Yan for being such a gracious host, we enjoyed our stay very much, and we would like to come back in the near future to spend a longer time visiting that beautiful area around the Acadia National Park.
Nice small cottage with full size bathroom. Plenty of areas to hangout and rela, including out side.. Comfy mattress and pillows. Close to Bar Harbor, but far enough away for a serine woodsy experience. Clean, and easy to find. Definitely will stay again.
We thought the cabin was new, cozy, and clean. The kitchen was small, but had all of the amenities we needed. The one thing we wished for was a sofa. There were only two stiff chairs armchairs for seating. It was rainy during our stay and we would have loved a small couch to curl up on to read and watch movies.
Overall, the setting was peaceful and the cabin was lovely!
The small cabin is cozy and comfortable. The bed is set against one wall, so one of the two people in it has to get off from the end of the bed. The cooking area has a small fridge, a hot plate, small oven, microwave, plenty of utensils and silverware, dish detergent and a drying rack. There is plenty of hot water for both sink and shower.
The upstairs loft had a sleeping pad, but the ceiling is too low for adults to stand up.
The grounds are pretty and the area is very quiet. Getting into downtown Blue Hill takes 5 minutes.
Polly is delightful.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway to Acadia. The cottage is newly built and really fits the bill for a cozy, cute, and remote escape. Yan was an excellent host too, she helped us find the cottage when we got lost, left us a nice note when we came in, and was available if we had any questions about the area. I would highly recommend this place to any couple heading to this area!!
This was a little cottage tucked away in the woods. If there was a rating for the value of what I paid compared to other homes we stayed at throughout our trip to Maine, I would rate it a 3-star.

Cottage was fresh and clean and nicely decorated. Communication with host was above and beyond as she accommodated our needs. Property is located about 15-20 minutes from town in a rural area so amenities are not close if you miss something. But overall nice stay

Place was clean and recently updated. Secluded and peaceful but lacks close “things to do”. We brought Kurog pods but they only had a drip coffee pot but provided no coffee. Bed situated in a way that I had to crawl over my wife to use the bathroom at night. Wi-Fi provided but no TV. All in all not a bad place but to far from Acadia which is what we came to see.
This nice little rental house was very clean and seemed brand new! Very quiet location near the farmhouse Inn where our event was located. Just a two minute drive! The bed was very comfortable. If it was turned 90° might make it easier to access both sides. A small couch might be a nice addition. But all in all, we would definitely stay here again!
This cabin had all of the basics to make our stay comfortable. What made it special was the thoughtfulness of the host. It was a lovely surprise to wake and see that the morning glories had boomed along the path to the cabin. I enjoyed having my morning tea near the morning glories, while sitting on the doorstep with the sun shining on me. We had a lovely experience. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night!
My children and I stayed at this cabin June 2022 and it was lovely.
The cabin is well equipped. The parking is great and a easy to find location. The area is close to the beach and hiking trails are abundant. We truly had a awesome time.
Rented this cabin for 3 days to visit Acadia. First time renting through VRBO. Polly was amazing. She quickly answered a few questions we had before booking. Had a few more questions the day we were leaving and she answered immediately. Cabin was great. It was bigger than expected. It had everything we needed. Check-in was seamless, Polly gave us directions to town to get groceries and dinner, and we got to meet Sparky. Highly recommend this property. Not a single complaint.

Property was exactly as advertised. Sparkly clean, everything you need, beautiful property, great hosts. Sparky the pup was a bonus when he came to visit. Polly was a great host, responsive and friendly. We will definitely stay again. Great location. A !
This cabin property fit our needs perfectly. Just big enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Everything was exactly as described. The host is very responsive and helpful with requests. Blue Hill is a nice little town. Try the Co-Op Cafe, Humble Bees, and Sandy's Blue Hill Cafe. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property!
We stayed here for three days while traveling back and forth to Acadia; it is about ~45 minutes to the park and Bar Harbor. The cabin is in Blue Hill, which is a quaint little town. There are a couple of restaurants and coffee shops, but they close pretty early. The house itself is very clean, cozy, and well-decorated. Communication with the owner was very easy and quick. Great stay!
