"The house, deck, porch and property were wonderful and tastefully decorated and landscaped. It was so relaxing and had everything we needed down to comfy pillows and top quality bedding. It is quite a climb to go fishing but managable. There were 3 couples, we felt right at home and had a WONDERFUL time. We made great memories with great friends!!"

"The layout is nice, the view is wonderful. The noise level from highway is loud at times. The windows do not all have screens and some of them have openings that let in bugs. The kitchen is not well equipped with items, such as sharp knives, coffee, baking pans, or serving dishes. The pillows are terrible and the blankets are cheap."

"Beautiful home, very quiet neighborhood. Loved the wrap around porch and layout of home. Wish there had been a lake view but understand the rules. Would definitely go back some time."

"We had an outstanding time at lake barren and our stay at the cabin was incredible. The photos don’t do justice for what the cabin really looks like. We will use this cabin again when we come back to lake barren. Very clean and has lots of amenities."

"A group of friends stayed here because we had a fishing tournament on Barren River over the weekend. We enjoy this location because there is plenty of space for our boats and there is a lot of peace and quiet. The place is very nice and offers a great place to relax. Plenty of sleeping options and plenty of options to hang out."

"The She Shed was great. Cozy little spot. Stayed for three nights and slept great. The hosts we're awesome: helpful and hospitable. The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. Glamping is where it's at."

"Couldn't have asked for better hosts and accomodations! Communication was excellent. Everything you could need was provided and then some. Decor and queen bed were unexpectedly upscale. Fresh pastries to greet us when we arrived. On site fishing for hubby. Will definitely return!"

"We picked this property because of its location between Mammoth Cave and the Corvette Museum but primarily because of its remote feel. The place was very clean and the views out the backyard were superb. Our kids could explore and while there are neighbors to both sides we only heard 1 car come down the dead end street. We’ll certainly stay here again."

"The owner is very nice, friendly, & accommodating. The rental is located in a beautiful area! If you want quiet & to kind of get away from “people” , it’s the perfect place. So much better than staying in a hotel! 10/10 recommend! We plan on staying again when we come back to town!"

"This house was absolutely beautiful! Plenty of space for 6 adults. Parking was a little difficult but only because we had a trailer with 2 jeeps. That was on us! Normal everyday drivers would be just fine. Set on the back upper deck and watched the wild life (ground hog living under neighbors house) and used the grill."

"The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you"
