"Very comfortable and quiet ! We stayed in the Bunker room, and even with it off of the main lobby, it was a very peaceful night! Very centrally located, able to walk anywhere in Saint Andrews, and lots of parking available on the street! "
"Wonderful setting in St Andrews. Newly remodeled rooms. Busy part of town and lots to see and do. Very convenient to all St. Andrews has to offer. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. "
"Incredible location and facility. Historic hotel lived up to every expectation. Room was very comfortable and had a great view of the Old Course. Rooftop bar had great view, drinks and food. Can’t wait to stay there again in the future. "
"The room was great, very large. Bathroom was also very spacious.
It was perfect for our 1 night stay with St Andrew’s just a few minutes down the road.
The room was clean and incredibly comfortable, only complaint is the beds were in front of the windows so we couldn’t open them. "

"Beautiful castle in the middle of a forest about 10 minute drive from the center of St Andrews (you will need a car or taxi if you stay here). Had a mini apartment that was enormous and spotless with huge sitting and bedroom with very comfortable bed. Manager/owner was very proactive/responsive, but be aware that I didn’t see anyone the entire weekend. Kitchen was stocked with many breakfast things and real coffee. Will absolutely be staying here again."
"It was very peaceful and spacious and the views were lovely. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall, we highly recommend this rejuvenating experience. "
"Check in was seamless. The app sent to us before hand was invaluable. The apartment genuinely felt like a home away from home. There was every utensil imaginable in the kitchen and the whole apartment was spotless. We really enjoyed the peace & quiet. Our only minor downside was the road leading to the property had some serious potholes however that did not detract from a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend. "
"What an amazing place to stay had everything you needed. The village was lovely. The only thing I would mention is that it’s not quite accurate for the directions it takes you to a house over the fence and there is no name anywhere to tell you the location of the property. It was a bit of a guess and had to ask a local if they new of such a place. I would definitely go back here. "
"Property was exactly as pictured/described. Beautiful view out of ample Family Room in back of house. Saw pheasants in surrounding fields. Good proximity to St. Andrews and Anstruther.
Beds and bedding were good. Kitchen was decently equipped, French press for coffee.
Communication from Property Management Company was great close to stay.
A couple of minor items:
-Water not connected to refrigerator, so no ice cubes.
-Could use some luggage stands in the rooms or even a chair or two in the bedrooms.
-Surface cleaned, that is cob webs and spiders in corners."
"First, the cottage was just perfect! Very clean. Nice, big kitchen complete with all the basics needed for cooking and a table for 4. Fridge was large enough for the two of us and had a small freezer compartment. Large entry area which was perfect for storing golf clubs. Bedroom was large and had a queen bed, twin bed, and wardrobe. Lounge was also very big and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious with tub/shower. Excellent water pressure and quick to get hot water. It was easy to find the cottage with the directions provided and the sat-nav. You can park just in front of the door at the back. Very quiet, rural area just a 5 min drive from two large grocery stores and maybe 8 minutes to St Andrews proper. We did have a small problem with the heating. We arrived on a very cold night and the cottage was not heated. The entry way thermometer showed 55F/12C. After unloading and thoroughly searching the house and info sheet for a thermostat, we contacted the agency. For future guests... it's conveniently located behind the microwave in the kitchen. Now, I'd probably put that info on the Welcome Sheet - just saying. We quite nearly left, but fortunately Short Stays UK was very quick to respond and it was all sorted out, so I'm not going to take a star for that. Also, it seems that the heating will only work if the farmhouse has it on - so we did have one chilly night when the radiators had gone cold. Laundry facilities were perfect. Would stay here again! "
