Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel coud use a little rennovating- but it is in a perfect location and an affordable alternative to the more expensive golf related hotels. Breakfast is simple and pleasant- overall, very good value and would stay again.

Welcoming in St. Andrews

The Albany was a great location for our family visit to St. Andrews! The free parking and an easy walk in town were very convenient. The garden suite room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic! We appreciated the friendliness of the staff. Definitely a location to stay again!

It was a lovely stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and made the hotel feel very safe and welcoming. The room was a little small, but this didn't get in the way of the trip.

Excellent Stay

Perfect choice of hotel for a stay in St. Andrew’s. Centrally located, super helpful staff, and a full breakfast was a great way to start the day. I will say that sound travels pretty easily (I could make out conversations from other rooms), but even as a light sleeper I had no issues. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Small family owned hotel, walking distance to shopping, golfing. Safe location. Rooms were Clean. Water and snacks were available in the room. Staff were friendly. Nice and warm hospitality. Free buffet breakfast for bonus. Do check this place too if you are planning to visit Scotland.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was a trouble only down side possibly requires slightly up dating with decor and bedroom furniture apart from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Absolutely charming hotel near Uni

We came for a college visit and absolutely enjoyed this charming hotel. We stayed in the Garden Suite which had 4 twins, 2 of which were in a separate room. Nice seating area and a lovely bathroom and extra bathroom right outside our door. We also enjoyed the gorgeous garden patio outside our room! Absolutely stunning! The breakfast is incredible so be sure to include this with your stay!! The staff is so helpful and answered pit many questions with kindness and patience! Highly recommend!!

Extremely efficient and hospitable check in at this beautiful small hotel built in a townhouse that dates from the 18th century. Modern and clean bathroom, facilities, and shower. Very comfortable beds. Perfectly located in the center of Saint Andrews. The staff was very helpful when we had a difficult and unrelated to the hotel situation occur. The morning breakfast was delicious. An outstanding stay, and we look forward to staying at the Albany again in the future.

The room is small and basic but one of the nicest stays we’ve ever had. Nothing is a problem for the staff at the front desk. Genuinely the Lovliest people. The bed was so comfortable, fantastic quality linens and towels, great shower. What it lacks in size it makes up for in comfort. Easy walk to everything! What a find!

Stayed for a night and was thoroughly impressed. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and were happy to store a suitcase as I’d arrived early. storage Bedroom and bathroom were spotless, with great range of shower products and refreshments. Lovely bed, great night’s sleep and an impressive range of breakfast food available, all very good quality. Only downside is the steps up to the hotel and lack of lift indoors, which was slightly difficult with a heavy case. Otherwise with the excellent location in town centre and welcoming atmosphere I would highly recommend and definitely return!
