"Great peaceful and relaxing hotel. Beautiful golf course. Much nicer than the old course. Needs an update here and there, but nothing major. Would stay again."
"Wonderful setting in St Andrews. Newly remodeled rooms. Busy part of town and lots to see and do. Very convenient to all St. Andrews has to offer. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. "
"Incredible location and facility. Historic hotel lived up to every expectation. Room was very comfortable and had a great view of the Old Course. Rooftop bar had great view, drinks and food. Can’t wait to stay there again in the future. "
"A lovely small friendly boutique hotel great for a short break and in a lovely convenient location. Great range of wines. Would like some fruit available at breakfast though."

"Very clean, modern redo of a classic old Scottish house. The owner is super responsive!!Location is in the middle of town with access in all directions (roads are a little narrow). Restaurants nearby. "
"Well equipped apartment, very clean, plenty towels and high quality bedding. Lovely views towards harbour, lots to see from windows. Close to shops and eating places. We had a trip to St Andrews which was not too far by car. Parking can be tricky especially as it was summer but we got spaces quite near the apartment. We had a nice time browsing in the gift shops in Anstruther and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great visit and apartment. "
Dolphin Cottage- traditional cottage on Fife Coast
8/10 Good
"Lovely quaint old cottage close to the beach and harbour. It’s in a great location with lovely views over the Dreel burn and beach. The open plan living/dining room is bright, spacious and comfortable. The cottage is well provisioned with plenty crockery and kitchenware, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. It has a quirky layout with bedrooms on the ground floor and the living spaces upstairs. This affords the property with nice views towards the beach. The beds were pretty comfortable, although a few new pillows would definitely be a bonus. Plenty drawer and wardrobe space in both bedrooms. We had plenty towels, bedding etc and the heating and shower were good so we were cosy during our stay. The only negative point is that the cottage would benefit from a deep clean. It was generally clean on all the surfaces and in the kitchen and bathroom so we had no issues with it but I am guessing that the owner or some guests might have dogs. We were aware of a slight doggy aroma coming from the carpets and soft furnishings. It was a minor thing though and didn’t bother us. The parking was a bit challenging during our stay because the carpark at the esplanade was fenced off by Scottish Water for upgrade works. The cottage is on a narrow street so we had to park away from the property. It wasn’t a problem as we didn’t need the car much so we unloaded our bags on arrival and parked in a public carpark about 5mins walk away. Overall, we had a great stay and would book again"
"This is a beautifully decorated cottage, equipped with everything you could ask for.Tastefully decorated throughout and very cosy and comfortable. Well worth a visit"
"Lovely apartment. Comfortable & cosy. The apartment had everything we needed for our week away. We managed to get out and do lovely things everyday, and we were blessed with good weather.
*The only thing we found was that there didn't seem to be any Wifi signal in the smaller bedroom, so think that the Wifi could do with a booster.
In the kitchen, we couldn't find a handle for the grill pan.
Apart from these things, the apartment had everything we wanted.
Lovely stay."
