This place is definitely a hidden gem! This place is unbelievably gorgeous with the mountain views! We arrived after 6pm and was given clear directions on how to obtain our room key. The rooms, washroom, and shower facilities were so neat and clean. Well maintained in all areas. There were many washroom and showers room to share between the guests. The breakfast was also highlight. The staff was so friendly. She came and offered to make us scrambled eggs and bacon which was a nice touch. Wish we stayed here longer, if you are in Luzern. The Bus ride is a little longer to get to, but totally worth the view going up and down the mountain. Bus stop is nearby to commute back to Luzern sbb. Highly recommended and will hope to come back one day! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Cleanliness at the hotel is very good. Shared bathrooms were always clean and no bad smell. Bed was made daily and rubbish bin was emptied daily from your room. Staff were very accommodating and friendly and even offered to cook eggs for breakfast as they were cleaning up from breakfast time. Would highly recommend this hotel. However, the only downside is if you are not a confident driver on narrow windy roads along the mountains of switzerland - this is a very hard place to reach.

Very authentic Swiss experience. Great hospitality! The manager was amazing and gave great recommendations. The setting is idyllic, nestled in a valley. We LOVED our stay and would gladly have spent more time if we had it. If you get the chance do not hesitate to book a stay.

The nicest view ever, I loved the road the takes you to the hotel, the nicest staff ever, the most tasty breakfast, they let us to check in early and provide us with a great room. The price is very good comparing to Switzerland prices. I love you guys ❤️❤️

Superb - highly recommend
We had a superb stay. Every staff member was so polite and welcoming. Our room was very spacious with wonderful views. The area is so quiet and peaceful. We ate dinner which was delicious and our breakfast was outstanding - a morning banquet.

Serenity in Switzerland
This was advertised on Hotels.com as 5 miles from both Lucerne and Alpnach.....although, that was not true. HOWEVER......the 20 minute drive up and down the mountain was the most glorious and serene landscape we saw in Switzerland. It’s a beautiful quiet location...tasty plentiful breakfast included. This was the perfect place to end a 2 week vacation in Italy and Switzerland.

this hotel is awful
this hotel had no air conditioning in the rooms no refrigerator on iron and the hotel was infested with fly's. its an hour and a half drive from the airport and a long walk to even get public transportation. i will never recommend this hotel to anyone ever.

Das gebuchte Zimmer im 3 Stockwerk war zweckmäßig in Ordnung. Allerdings für 2 Personen einwenig zu klein das Bett . Ich hätte mir gerne noch einen kleinen Schrank gewünscht oder zumindest eine kleine Garderobe. Im fortgeschrittenen Alter aus dem Koffer zu leben, ist sehr ungünstig. Ansonsten war die Unterkunft sehr sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Aussicht atemberaubend !!! Der Weg nach oben zum Hotel ist sehr speziell ..,das muss man mögen..

Das Hotel ist ein sehr gut gepflegtes Holzhaus mit stilvoller Einrichtung. Die Betreuung durch die Mitarbeiterin im Haus war hervorragend - vom späten, gut vorbereiteten Check-In wie auch in der Versorgung am Frühstückstisch war das alles super gemacht! Das Haus hat dazu ein paar echte Highlights: immer wieder Veranstaltungenvon Kleinkunst über Musik bis zu Polit-Talk mit herausragenden Personen, eine Leseecke mit nicht alltäglichem Lesestoff aus der Schweiz - da gibt es eine Handschrift!
