Best Western Plus Ticonderoga Inn & Suites

10/10 Excellent

"Clean and comfortable. Not too expensive. Location, location, location! Convenient to everything you're likely to want to do in Ticonderoga. The pool and hot tub are nice amenities. If they have a gym, I didn't see it. Perhaps it's on the second floor? Breakfast is included; and it's really pretty good. My companion noted that the egg omelets all seemed to include cheese. I guess if you're lactose intolerant that could be an issue- probably the hot foods should be labeled. The restaurant / bar is okay; menu is a bit limited, but will satisfy most people. Our food was good ,we ate breakfast twice and dinner twice. Restaurant options in-town seem pretty limited,so, we appreciated the convenience of having an on-site restaurant. There is 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby, which is a nice touch. We expect to return in the fall."

"We stayed one night on a road trip to Canada. As a runner, I found the area convenient for a quick run and even went on a nearby hiking trail. (The side of the roads was just big enough on the nearby roads and moving vehicles were kind enough to move over if possible.) We prefer rooms like this one with a refrigerator and microwave to give us more options. The bed was soft which may not appeal to everyone but worked for us. The place was quiet."

"We had a great stay at Lake George Escape Campground! The campground was clean, peaceful, and well maintained. Our cabin was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and there was plenty to do throughout our stay. We loved the atmosphere and made some great memories. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake George area!"

"Loved the room, and having the Keurig right there was a bonus. Did not love the loud women having a conversation in the hall at 9:30 P.M. (one of whom may have been an employee, from what I could tell). Quiet time hours might be a good idea. I'm guessing I'm not the only one trying to get to sleep for an early hike in the morning."

"Dated hotel and rooms. Grab and Go breakfast was meager. Staff were friendly but did not go out of their way to accommodate...and there were not many guests in the facility. Due to limited options for hotels in the area, would likely use again. Another hotel in town was double the cost."
