"Where to begin? First off the staff, Michelle and Phillip, were awesome. We were getting late on NYE and not only were they okay but Michelle even called to check on us knowing we were driving in late. Upon arrival Phillip made us feel welcome and at home. Showed us a beautiful and very clean room. The in room amenities were well stocked and all clean. The bar downstairs had a very marvelous bourbon selection. Had one of the best old fashioned ive ever had. Do not miss breakfast. At least not here you will not be disappointed. "

"So it is a little, in expensive, road side hotel, but the room was very clean, the breakfast was top notch with sausage l, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, great coffee with a selection of cream flavors, and various bread options s, etc. Bust beat of all was the staff! Met the desk clerk, the cleaning staff, and the breakfast gentleman. Everyone was so friendly, nice, and helpful."

"We always enjoy our stay here. Imani, the front desk clerk, is such a delight to talk with. The mattresses are getting a little saggy, but the historic charm and comfort of the hotel is always on point. We appreciate being able to walk to restaurants and the convenient locations to drive to whatever we need. We were bummed the Swamp Fox closed an hour earlier than advertised, though. "

"Wonderful stay! Everything was clean and in order. This is such a peaceful and quiet place to relax and restore yourself. Bed was comfortable, couch was cozy, fireplace was great to have, hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed some hot meals cooked with the stove and the oven, some coffee from the coffee maker, and enjoyed a movie on the fantastic living room TV (updated from the pictures)! Most of all enjoyed the peace and quiet of this cozy cabin. The hosts were super kind and helpful. We will definitely have to return in the summer to take advantage of the grill, the fire pit, and all the outdoor adventures in the area. Bottom line: great getaway!!!"
