Hotel Mayfair

"Quaint hotel 2 blocks from the Central Station. Very easy to get to anywhere. The staff went above and beyond, especially with helping to get luggage to the room. The one point against is that the elevator only went to the 1st floor. It was a full flight of stairs from the lobby level. A very nice feature was the "backyard"."

"A great location for getting around the city. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout. We didn't eat at the hotel at all, although we did stop for a drink in the bar one evening; so we can't comment on the food. However the staff serving in the bar/restaurant were attentive and polite. Reception staff were very helpful at check-in, also helping when we asked for supplies of tea and coffee for the room. They arranged a taxi for us at check-out and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The room was small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our only (small) issue was storage, we stayed for 5 nights and there was limited space for clothes. A couple more drawers and coat hangers would be good. The tiny shelf next to each side of the bed is barely big enough for a 'phone, so a small set of drawers there would have been ideal. Similarly the bathroom could have used a shelf and a few more hooks. But these were minor inconveniences and wouldn't be a problem if staying just for a weekend. Overall it is a great place to stay and we'd definitely choose it again next time we visit Copenhagen."

"This was a last-minute booking due to the fact that it was so hot and the original place that we were staying at did not have air-conditioning so we need something. The place was small but accommodating since we were out for most of the day. And it was just good enough, but it was very tight to put our two large luggage and backpacks around the place. But it did the job. The room that we got would be more suitable for one person, but like I mentioned before, we needed a room with air air-conditioning in a window that would open so it was good"

"Hotel is nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is also a resturant in the hotel but we did not have a chance to try it. The hotel felt new and modern and the rooms were clean. We arrived early so we were able to store our bags in the luggage storage room and use the restrooms in the lobby to change and freshen up. The hotel also has a gym that has still and sparkling water taps that you can use at any time to refill your water bottle which we really enjoyed. We arrived from the train station early in the morning and the walk to the hotel felt a little sketchy because the area it is in but we had no issues. We walked the same path later in the day when the area was more lively and it was better. Overall a great hotel to stay at."

"The room was spacious and clean and even had a bathtub- a rarity in Europe. It was quiet and I appreciated the variety of pillows. The breakfast had a wide variety and was fresh and tasty. The location is convenient; the metro station is a short walk."
