It’s clean, right by the beach, walkable to many dining options and nightlife. The staff was very kind and accommodating. AC works well, shower water is hot, wifi is available. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very convenient to beach and downtown area. It is pretty loud till late at night with bars around area but did not keep me from sleeping. Staff was very friendly, accommodating and keeps everything nice and clean.

The place is on the beach, perfect location. The AC worked amazing, the staff was absolutely amazing. If you need a TV, they will bring to your room. Just a great place for the low price.

This property was literally right at the beach entrance. It had a lot of food and shopping right next door. Everything was in easy walking distance. The staff were amazing. So friendly and took care of all of our needs. It was a bit loud at night with music right outside the building but if that bothers you they did have earplugs in the room. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our experience at Ma-Jo was excellent. Fabiola was very friendly and approachable.. This hotel was right next to the beach.. if we were any closer, we would’ve got wet. The rooms were very clean, almost spotless. Fabiola was very fast to accommodate our needs.. I’m definitely will come back here.

This is a perfectly nice option that is conveniently located near the beach at Sayulita. The photographs on the website give the false impression that all the rooms have sea views and balconies. They don't. Some or even most don't even have windows... other than some small ones facing inward (not outside, with views)... so be aware of this and inquire which rooms you're receiving before committing to a stay. The rooms are nice, but only the more expensive ones have views and balconies... but they are the noisier rooms facing over a walking street that often has nighttime activities. The rooms that don't have windows are the quieter rooms. The facilities and hot water showers are fine, though my client did not have much pressure in her shower. Mine was fine. There is no food service at this hotel, but it is within walking distance of many restaurants. If you have a vehicle, forget about parking near the hotel. They have no parking on site since they are on a walking-only street. You will have to park your car on the street somewhere in Sayulita... and risk a possible break-in. I did not have a break in... but I parked in a well-lighted space (remember that street parking is difficult in Sayulita because of the crowds) in front of a business located next to another hotel. Better give it a pass if you have a vehicle, especially if you intend to leave anything in that vehicle... and remember you may be walking blocks with luggage in tow if you stay here.

Please read this as the property does not disclose that there is loud, vibrating, wall shaking music 24/7 from the beach bars below. I didn’t know this and I booked 2 nights. The first night was awful. When I complained they agreed to refund me part of my second night there. They should have refunded my entire stay. And Expedia was no help because the hotel didn’t respond to them about my complaint so there was nothing they could do. And the hotel knew this so they just don’t respond. Nice folks but they need to be more transparent in their advertising.
