"Perfect location to enjoy Matera!"

"The property is very clean"

"Great location and a unique hotel. Would definitely recommend."

"We stayed for only 2 nights! We had an absolutely amazing time in Matera. Giuseppe greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us some recommendations. We felt right at home. He provided some waters and a ton of snacks. The “Family Room” was beautifully decorated and clean. We would 100% recommend!"

"Was a wonderful place to stay in a cave!"

"Very Nice Spa!"

"What an amazing place to stay in Matera. Our room was a large spacious cave-style room with a private “wine cellar” down a long flight of stairs deep into the cave. The room came with everything we needed and the staff were kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Matera."

"The staff which was the owner was amazing. She was in touch via whatss app to make sure I found parking and arrived at the Hotel. She was very welcoming. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The views, the rooms, amazing breakfast. Definitely would recommend to anyone that wants and amazing experience at Matera. Loved it!!!!"

"This hotel was really sweet. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful . Breakfast had so much to offer. They reached out to us before our stay to help navigate our arrival. They arranged a cab to pick us up at the airport. Everything was an A++ We are sharing our first class experience with everyone we know."

"Lovely place in a great location "

"The property and staff were extremely welcoming"

"What a gem in Matera! Easy to get to, not to many stairs. (It's Matera, so of course there are some) It took 7-8 minutrs from the parking garage. Short way to Piazza de Sedile with cafes and restaurants nearby. We had the spa room. It was lovely to jump into the small pool after a warm day. The room was spotless and clean. When you stepped outside and walked around the corner, you had a lovely view of Matera. We loved it. And if you are worried about the noise from the pool; you can turn it off...

"The staff was so friendly and helpful! Communication was superb! The location was great. There were three restaurants within a short walk and we found free parking reasonably close. We arrived late due to car trouble, but the staff gave us great directions with a video. We had to carry bags a ways including some stairs, but staying in the Sassi was worth it."

"Close to everything. Right in the center of the Sassi with a vip view. Nice breakfast, our room was very plain but great choice for one night. Highly recommend it,"

"The senora spoke only Italian so difficult for English speakers. An amazing location but difficult to find."

"The location is convenient and walkable. There’s nice view from the window from the room. Reception is welcoming and offered me some tips. Materia is an amazing place to visit. "

"I really liked that there was everything you could need to be comfortable. You can tell there is someone considerate behind the administration. There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. In the bathroom, shower cap, soap, and other amenities, enough towels for all the guests (this is not always the case). The family room was great with two rooms and ac in each one. Wifi worked well and the owner is super nice. Breakfast was simple but...
