Didn’t like that the Pool was in the shade most of the day but the location of the hotel was great! Walked everywhere and close to the trolley stop for free rides to the beach and Armand’s Circle . Front desk staff was very friendly. Room was clean and a good size. I did not like that there wasn’t a door on the bathroom side that had the sink … the light was blinding when you are sleeping on the pull out couch and also you couldn’t use that area for changing depending who you are traveling with.

No mention of the $35 per night parking. No soap for the shower. Big gaps in shower door lets water get all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast was good but definitely not a place I’d ever stay at again

Excellent views of city and waterways from our suite. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a variety items to even satify a vegan diet. The staff were very accondating and nice. I would stay again.

This hotel make charges for a lot of things that we didn’t know we had to pay for and that we didn’t even used, such as the Destiny fee ($25) per day. It was a bad surprise that we thought was for only the people that signed on it. The breakfast was very repetitive and lacked the good taste and service of the topical Embassy Suits hotels we used before.

The room was very spacious and the view from the room was spectacular! The access to amenities were also fantastic! Having breakfast included makes all the difference and the complimentary services included throughout the stay made everything very convenient and enjoyable. The lunch and dinner at the Bridges Restaurant within the hotel offers delicious and high quality meals. I would definitely return and stay again.

Perfect location. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Zakk the bartender was fantastic. Complimentary cocktails and appetizers everyday and breakfast, Amazing!! The room was clean with a great view. The pool was clean and refreshing after a day at the beach. Main Street is within walking distance for bars restaurants and entertainment. Overall very pleased and will be returning.

All the amenities are on one floor. The restaurant and bar, the pool which is literally in the middle of the building and the fitness center. Great views of Sarasota bay and the sunset made our stay amazing!

Not sure if this is a property thing, but we had issues in the room such as the bathroom barn door not staying shut, and one set of outlets at the bedside table not working.

The view was spectacular! Breakfast was excellent! Cleaning staff did a wonderful job. Couch in room was very uncomfortable and old. Beds where too high. Taxes are outrageous. Parking not included.

Very nice partial view of the bay and good breakfast, but that's where the positives end. Buidling and rooms have a very poor layout and functional design. Pathetic evening reception compared to other Embassy Suites properties. Poor service and lack of quality food at dinner. But the main reason for my rating are the multiple room maintenance problems (A/C, drains, outlets, lightening, loose bathroom handle and fixture). Hot room made it difficult to sleep, couldn't use bathroom sink, ankle deep water during shower. One problem, cut them slack. Multiple problems, no excuse. Will not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

Great potential but the property is looking tired and the housekeeping staff needs help. Dirty draperies and wallpaper in hallways and rooms, a lot of the furniture chipped and worn, all asking for freshening. Unfortunate since the location, bones and breakfast are strong points.

This hotel was conveniently located for a wedding dinner rehearsal and the actual wedding ceremony we attended. It’s kind of pricey, but the location is nice for what we needed. We didn’t have enough time to explore the area or take advantage of their complimentary drinks. I didn’t like where the TV was located - maybe if it had an extended arm so you can position it so that it’s in front of you instead of turning your head to the side. I have a picture, but i can’t post it.
