"everything was as depicted in listing. beautiful historical house, with gorgeous hardwood floors! great communication with gracious host Catherine. my husband enjoyed staying at your house while visiting our daughter, a mobile resident. pictures did not do the house justice, every little need was met. beautifully furnished. the only thing was the pretty bathtub sides were almost too tall for me to step over, im 5'4" and my husband helped me to step over the high sides, a handhold would be nice...

"We were in town for our youngest daughter’s graduation at South. This home had perfect proximity to downtown where we had most of our meals and gatherings. It is also easy to hop on the interstate and get to campus. The house is well equipped and very clean. Our older daughter and her husband who were also with us enjoyed their morning jog through the historic district. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this creek side property in a lovely neighborhood. It was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Our group enjoyed the deck in the afternoons. We were a short drive to downtown Fairhope shops and restaurants."

"Clean, spacious, comfortable and minimalist home just off the beaten path in Semmes (a sprawly rural/suburban area). Kitchen is very well appointed, plenty of towels, comfy furniture and mattresses. Surprised to only find 2 spare rolls of TP for a 4 bedroom home. Could use a couple of club chairs in the LR, not everyone wants to cozy up on a couch. Very quiet and private, small pool perfect for a quick dip. Absolutely spotless when we arrived. Host responsive and flexible. Would recommend...

"Spacious home on the river, complete with outdoor game area, big yard and a large covered patio! This location met our needs for the week, but needs a little more TLC to be a premier property. Thank you!"

"Nice enough to say overall experience was good. Ice maker doesnt work. No ice trays. Door keypad dead but was able to get in quiclly with a phone call. Yard was awful. Limbs and leaves covering driveway and patio furniture. Provided coffee for 6 cups. Everything was was clean except master bathroom rug. Bring a stopper if you want to use the bath tub. Decorating screams "what we found at thrift store". Kitchen French doors uses a live, laugh, love shower curtain cut in half with a kitchen knife....

"House was nice and the location was good for what we needed. I read all the reviews before booking and noticed the owner was mentioned a lot. First night we were there the ac didn’t work. I called around 8pm. He answered immediately and within 30 minutes was onsite with an ac guy. They fixed the problem and he apologized profusely for a problem that was out of his control. Stuff happens. Short story long one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet!"

"I had to come to town for something unfortunate.My stay reminded me of an old town feel from when I was a child. Old big oaks azalea bushes and the wet smell of oak leaves from the rains. The home is very nice and cozy and decorated with class. The front porch with a rocker was a nice relaxing touch. Best of all I have fibromyalgia and hurt in most beds. I felt like I was in my own, and didn't suffer. Thank you for making this home available."
