"We sayed in Moksa in september. Our shinkansen got significantly delayed, and my phone roaming stopped working, so I could not call and say we would arrive late for dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly, and were able to accomodate our dinner reservation. The food was delicious, the garden is a delight, and I wish we would have spent a few more days in this hotel. Loved it!"
"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "
"The room was huge, brand new and beautiful with incredible amenities, but the service sets apart the Kamo from other hotels. The staff repeatedly went beyond expectations."
"I stayed at the Chaya house which was absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and a joy to speak with. Otsu is a smaller quiet town with lots of character and friendly residents. I highly recommend checking out the local Izakayas and cafes for an equally excellent experience."
"Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights we had the private residence. Beautiful place, fell in love with it but the moment we stepped foot init "
"The room was super clean and modern. Staff were very nice and the area was extremely peaceful and beautiful. Very easy walk to good shopping locations."
"Beautiful hotel with Japanese garden connected to the room. Matcha room has private outdoor soaking tub over looking garden. Very zen atmosphere! 15 minute cab ride from Kyoto station in local neighborhood."
"A beautiful property combines the Japanese traditional charm with modern amenities and comfort. Staff exceptionally helpful and providing highest level of service. I cannot recommend this hotel enough .. it is an experience to be enjoyed "

"The hotel is lovely and staff very friendly. It is in a quiet area with a few places to eat. There is a restaurant which we didn't try. There is a free shuttle bus to and from a subway station which was really useful as the hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the nearest subway stop. "
