"The Property in which we stayed is a one bedroom with ensuite shower and WC, one bath, kitchen and lounge and it has a large terrace overlooking the beautiful town of Santa Cruz and the Ilhas Desertas with a lovely panoramic view of the Atlantic and the surrounding Mountains It was perfect for us as a couple. "This is a nice romantic retreat (log fire in lounge), quiet and set in the woods and pretty gardens and well cared for. Nice place for a meditative retreat or base for walking. Very good wifi. The owner is very helpful and pleasant but not always on site. Apart from no TV or central hotel reception, the apartment was a good size and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Kept clean and fresh. I was alone there on business and unfortunately hit the worst weather imaginable (cold, battering rain...
