"Inmountain Resort offers remote accommodation high above the city of Funchal. Your host, Marco, is very accommodating. For a very reasonable fee, Marco met me at the airport and took me on a tour of Funchal. The accommodation is more than adequate. Quiet and very private. "Our location was beautiful. We met our host and showed us our villa. It was a condo cottage part of a hotel.Our condo was clean . Our bed was very uncomfortable and our pillows were extremely hard. No extra anything to exchange themThe pool was lovely, the hot tub was a cold tub. We loved the location however barking dogs kept us awake both nights. Be aware of many steep stairs. Hate to be negative but can’t give more than a three. "

"Pros: Had a wonderful time in your Beach House! The views were more beautiful than I ever imagined. Family had one of our favorite vacations. Cons: Showers need immediate repair. First bedroom shower downstairs was stopped up and the pan filled with water. The other 2 bedroom showers leaked and flooded the bathroom floors. A little repair would make a big difference."

"This apartment had the most surreal views! It was lovely and clean and comfortable as well. It’s a shared space but you have your own room and bathroom and the other guests were nice and didn’t disturb us at all. "The house is lovely and in a beautiful location right on the coast overlooking the ocean. Complete with sun loungers on the deck, and table & chairs to eat outside too. We were central for reaching the attractions we wanted to see such as the gardens and for walks, outdoor centre down the road if wanting to book activities, restaurants close by also. "

Amazing garden

"Wonderfull hotel with amazing garden. Nice staff. Clean. Very good breakfast. We were not that impressed with the dinners we had on the hotel, we prefered the other restaruants just outside the hotel instead. Be prepared for many stairs and some steep pathways, as the rest of the island. "

"No parking in the resort, only 7 minutes away walking uphill, most uncomfortable with suitcases even if you dropped off the suitcases you would still need to walk the distance and pay. I dislike separate beds in a couples room Tough toilet paper No shampoo conditioner supplied, only a kind of soap 1 small chocolate bar in the room, for 2.5 euros, not fun or enough Receptionist quite unkind, makes no effort to be kind or friendly "

A beautiful stay!

"After landing in Madeira, we headed straight to the property and were delighted to arrive. The surrounding area and grounds are beautiful and have all the facilities you could need including the pool (albeit, a bit chilly for this time of year), massage area and other areas to relax. Our room was incredibly clean, comfortable and very informative about the area and property facilities. Our favourite aspect was Berta’s breakfast. She is a wonderful and warm woman, who would go above and beyond to help and cater to the guests needs. The food was delicious and set us up for the hikes ahead! "
