Villa Verde - Luxurious Ocean and Mountain View Villa

Gorgeous mid-century modern villa with ocean and mountain views. Sits perched atop a hill, far removed from any freeway noise, with 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Santa Ynez mountains on the other.

Beautiful wrap-around front and back decks with comfy patio furniture for sunbathing, reading, outdoor meals, tea, or cocktails.

Comfortable for families. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Newly renovated with modern appliances and full washer/dryer, modern kitchen, high-speed WiFi, cable, and Netflix.

15 minute walk down to Summerland beach and 6 minute walk to center of town with cafés, restaurants, shops, and wine tastings.

Note: for additional security, there is an outdoor security camera located on the outside of the house, on the SW corner, facing the street. The front patio and the walkway to the street are visible from this camera.

Nice Place to Stay

The home was nice with a view of the ocean and conveniently located near the freeway. The mattresses were comfortable and the house had a large deck to hang out on.

We had such a lovely time in this great house. From the location to the great home to the amazing outside entertainment areas. The communication was timely and they weee very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely stay there again.

Great retreat spot

Beautiful home, backyard, gardens, and nice view. The bedrooms are a bit smaller and closer together than they look in the pictures, but everything was beautiful. The garden and outside spaces in particular were great to hang out in and enjoy.

Perfect for a friends weekend!

We LOVED our stay at this little Summerland bungalow! The pictures don't do it justice - it's tucked back from the road with lots of outdoor space to hang, cook and relax. Summerland is also such a charming, underrated neighborhood that we were so thrilled to explore. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect peaceful getaway

Located at the top of a hill with trees plants and the mountain in the distance this home was perfect for my friends and me. Beautiful views and perfect weather made our weekend stay very tranquil and relaxing. Super close to Santa Barbara without the hustle and bustle around us. Thank you!

Perfect holiday get away!

My husband, son, and I went to spend Christmas with my daughter and son in law. There was plenty of room to enjoy ourselves, both inside and out. It’s a beautiful home, with beautiful grounds. The area is quiet, and the views are astonishing! The hosts were great communicators. We couldn’t have chosen a better place.

Cozy house on the hill

We had a working vacation with business in the area and time scheduled for beach days too. This was a sunny beautiful place to work while watching butterflies and listening to the wind chime. Easy walk to town, good workout coming back. Great location with quiet nights and east freeway access to get to Santa Barbara and montecito. Comfy beds, cute decor. Perfect stay !

What a beautiful property with great views of the ocean in the front of the house and mountain views from the back of the house. All three of were very comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen and linens. We will be back!!

Great location, resposive owners

Spent a couple days with the family here. The house is well kept and very clean with everything we wanted. The neighborhood is great. We enjoyed an evening walk and met a couple of the neighbors doing the same. Since this place is just a couple miles up the road from downtown access to State street and central Santa Barbara is excellent . I also found the owners to be both responsive and professional.

terrific graduation weekend

Family came out for graduation weekend and found this beautiful home with an ocean view to be an incredible value. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths was a must and then throw in a beautiful setting with plenty of room to be together as well as several decks/patios for time to oneself. My MiL couldn't get over the lush foliage. Feels very private without feeling isolated.Only regret is not having at least one day of nothing planned as it was a busy commencement weekend and this home would be great for quiet reading by fireplace or any of the outside areas or in the comfy beds... or a fun movie or game night in the living area. And the communication with host can't be beat - courteous, thoughtful, and prompt. Just great overall.

Our birthday celebration!

The posted description of the place was exactly what we found... views of the ocean and mountains with lots of windows and bright light. We ate most meals at home and found the kitchen well stocked with most everything we needed. The throw blankets were appreciated while sitting around the cozy fireplace. The quaint town of Summerland had great shops and we even joined the local winery there. We had coffee every day at the local coffee place and enjoyed a lunch at Summerland beach cafe.

Great Summerland Summer House

My husband and I, along with our two adult daughters, enjoyed a brief stay at Villa Verde in late October when we were in the area for a family wedding. We didn't get to spend much time just enjoying the property, but the house suited our needs perfectly. I would love to return in the summer and enjoy the inviting outdoor spaces. The hosts are kind and easy to communicate with. They have worked hard to create a comfortable home. Merci bien!

Great home and location!

This home was perfect for a girls weekend (4 of us). The communication with owner (Vanita) was great and she even allowed us a late check out. House was very clean and comfortable. Lots of games and access to Netflix was nice. We absolutely loved the location. A quick walk to the beach or the cute restaurants/shops in town (although a very steep hill to get there and back so be prepared!). The house is on top of a hill where we had a great view of the ocean. Great deck areas to sit outside the house and relax. Only about 10 min drive to downtown Santa Barbara. Overall, it was a great place to stay for a fun and relaxing weekend!

Beautiful Home in a cute little town

This house had everything we needed for a great week in the Santa Barbara area. Maxim and Vinita are incredible hosts. Very helpful with local recommendations and very responsive. Not that you really need to contact them. This house was one of the best stocked places I’ve ever stayed. The kitchen has all you need to prepare meals. The beds are very comfortable. There are games. And the deck with view of the Pacific is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this home and in Summerland and it was an easy hop to Santa Barbara. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and pretty well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and plenty of dishes. Nice assortment of serving pieces as well. The property is lovely, with fruit trees and many varieties of vegetation. Good variety of games and books for all. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. My only suggestion to them is to perhaps to have a couple extra bathroom towels available. Definitely recommend staying at Villa Verde!

Beautiful outdoor living space

We knew the pictures showed lots of outdoor living space, but that back yard was better than expected! We had a "birder" in our group and he was thrilled by all the activity. We at every meal al fresco. The house itself was cute and fun. Our only complaint (might be an age thing) was that the beds only came with a comforter - no flat (top) sheets. For us, it was either too hot or too cold ... hard to get comfortable.

Beautiful, comfortable space. Love it!

The house is stunning. It was so comfortable. So beautifully appointed. Well stocked kitchen, all the cooking utensils you need to cook a meal. Very clean, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds. The owners were super responsive and very nice. I would happily stay here again. In fact would considering visiting again just to stay here.

Gardens and views

My family of four was so happy in this house that we made all our dinners there and spent lots of conversation time on the decks. The kitchen was excellently appointed with a really nice stove. The descriptions don't mention all the beautiful flowers surrounding the property. It was a treat to be able to see the ocean from one of the decks every day. The town of Summerland is so sweet, we liked it as much as we liked Santa Barbara.
