Villa Verde - Luxurious Ocean and Mountain View Villa

Gorgeous mid-century modern villa with ocean and mountain views. Sits perched atop a hill, far removed from any freeway noise, with 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Santa Ynez mountains on the other.

Beautiful wrap-around front and back decks with comfy patio furniture for sunbathing, reading, outdoor meals, tea, or cocktails.

Comfortable for families. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Newly renovated with modern appliances and full washer/dryer, modern kitchen, high-speed WiFi, cable, and Netflix.

15 minute walk down to Summerland beach and 6 minute walk to center of town with cafés, restaurants, shops, and wine tastings.

Note: for additional security, there is an outdoor security camera located on the outside of the house, on the SW corner, facing the street. The front patio and the walkway to the street are visible from this camera.

The home was perfect for my annual weekend away with a friend. There was a lot of outdoor space, which allowed us to visit but also retreat for reading or whatever else. It was a 3 minute drive (or 10 minute walk) to the main street of Summerland, which had several great shops and restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Most of all, the communication, responsiveness and flexibility with the owner was maybe the best I've had in all my VRBO experiences.

Nice Place to Stay

The home was nice with a view of the ocean and conveniently located near the freeway. The mattresses were comfortable and the house had a large deck to hang out on.

Beautiful Get Away

We loved staying at Villa Verde. We rented it for my work team to stay, while working in Santa Barbara and it was truly the perfect location. Besides being well appointed it was a beautiful relaxing get away for my team. We look forward to staying again.

Cute Getaway

This was the perfect spot for our girls trip. Close to downtown Santa Barbara and the funk zone and all of the amazing restaurants. We were able to relax and enjoy all of the beautiful outdoor spaces this home has to offer. The hosts were amazing and I would stay here again!!!

Perfect family weekend retreat

We stayed with our adult children and their mates. We had a wonderful weekend. The house was perfect for us all to be together and had lots of space too. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking and lots of games and comfortable outdoor space. Beds were comfortable as well. Summerland was adorable and we also had a great time in Oji. Great location, we’d definitely stay again

Weekend in Summerland

The house and location were super for our family party of 4. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to prepare meals and relax in the beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. Easy walk to the beach and coffee. Highly recommended.

My grown children and I spent the weekend at Villa Verde. It was comfortable, a great locale, relaxing, and the living room was big enough for all 6 of us. Nearby shops, the beach, Montecito, and Santa Barbara… I recommend it!

Really lovely house! Stylish and comfortable with amazing outdoor spaces. Really good beds and very well kitted out kitchen and living area. 10 minutes from Santa Barbara but your own space to enjoy it. Definitely recommend.

Gardens and views

My family of four was so happy in this house that we made all our dinners there and spent lots of conversation time on the decks. The kitchen was excellently appointed with a really nice stove. The descriptions don't mention all the beautiful flowers surrounding the property. It was a treat to be able to see the ocean from one of the decks every day. The town of Summerland is so sweet, we liked it as much as we liked Santa Barbara.

Perfect Getaway

Our Friends get away was wonderful. The Ville Verde was as described and didn’t disappoint. Summerland is a perfect place to stay if you want a great home town feel and it’s conveniently located to Santa Barbara. The Propert Manager was excellent to communicate with and very helpful.

Perfect holiday get away!

My husband, son, and I went to spend Christmas with my daughter and son in law. There was plenty of room to enjoy ourselves, both inside and out. It’s a beautiful home, with beautiful grounds. The area is quiet, and the views are astonishing! The hosts were great communicators. We couldn’t have chosen a better place.

terrific graduation weekend

Family came out for graduation weekend and found this beautiful home with an ocean view to be an incredible value. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths was a must and then throw in a beautiful setting with plenty of room to be together as well as several decks/patios for time to oneself. My MiL couldn't get over the lush foliage. Feels very private without feeling isolated.Only regret is not having at least one day of nothing planned as it was a busy commencement weekend and this home would be great for quiet reading by fireplace or any of the outside areas or in the comfy beds... or a fun movie or game night in the living area. And the communication with host can't be beat - courteous, thoughtful, and prompt. Just great overall.
