We enjoyed our stay. I’m not able to give 5 stars for some reason. Everything was very clean, front desk staff was very helpful, breakfast was great. The room was very spacious and the beds super comfortable. Highly recommend a stay here!

I absolutely loved our stay. Sometimes it’s just a room but to us we enjoyed the entire stay. Such a fun lil spot and free coffee and breakfast at the diner free drink at bar yes please and thankyou.we were able to use this a good ventral base and visited jalama beach Santa Barbara pier solvang and seen a rocket launch.

While the room was fairly clean, there were large stains visible on the rug. Trash was on the grass outside my room, as well as evidence that folks are not cleaning up after their dog. Not exactly a welcoming or well-maintained impression. The complimentary breakfast was fine (egg-white veggie omelette) with friendly service. I would not stay again.

Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location to the areas we were visiting. We rate the staff 10 stars! The breakfast was good. And having the bar/pub onsite is convenient. We were on the go and didn't have an opportunity to take advanrage of the free nightly drinks each night. However it was a nice touch! We can't say enough about how friendly and welcoming the staff is. Unfortunately the condition of the hotel was not good. This hotel is in need of a renovation. The carpet in the room was old and stained. The rooms are dated and worn. We would stay here again if the rooms get updated.

So the rooms are dated but clean. What the rooms lack is made up for by the friendly bar staff. I should have got a name but the bar lady was lovely and inviting and we eat there as well which we didn't expect but enjoyed. The breakfast was tasty too. Overall value for money as a quick stop

I highly recommend staying at OCairnes. It is a fantastic place with incredibly hospitable owners and staff. The restaraunt attached is great and wonderful place to wind down after a long day.

This is a great place for long stays! The staff and owners are extremely kind and helpful. The restaraunt was fantastic and reasonably priced. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable, comes with a full sized refridgerator! I highly recommend staying here!

The staff here is incredibly kind and helpful. Unfortunately, there is something wrong with the cleanliness of this place. I spent one night there and I've been sick for 3 days since. I don't know how often the actual comforter and pillows are washed and sanitized, but I'm guessing not often enough. Also, the chair and ottoman in the room were covered in stains. The guest above me sounded like I was attempting to sleep beneath a heard of elephants and it was a bit unsettling that the two guys in the room next to me left their door cracked open all night and were constantly in and out. Again, I'll say the staff is very kind but I won't be staying here again.

We stayed one night in between two rounds of golf we played in the area. Check in lady was very nice and helpful about recommendations for some place to eat. Ultimately we chose to eat in their bistro. It was really good! Two in our group had the fish and chips and I had the daily special of cheese tortellini in pesto sauce with a side salad….. it was all so good!! We each took advantage of the two cocktails (we all had margaritas-yum!) The complimentary, cooked to order breakfast the next morning was great too. One of us had an omelette, another had scrambled eggs with toast and bacon and I had two eggs over easy with crispy hash browns and bacon. Our room was comfortable. We’re traveling with two coolers, so the full sized refrigerator and freezer was appreciated. Would definitely stay there again!!

I was incredibly skeptical due to the low cost to stay here! But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a king suite, which had a living room, kitchen and dinette. The bed linens were crisp and white, and towels were fluffy and white and looked/felt brand new. The furnishings of course were outdated, but that’s to be expected at this price point. The important part here is that they were fully functional and clean. There was a small patch of peeling paint above the shower, which is why I gave 4 stars on the maintenance. But again, the overall condition of the suite far exceeded my expectations!! The a/c worked great, the hot water was instant, and parking was right in front of the room. We arrived late so we didn’t enjoy the two complimentary drinks per person at the bar, but the next morning we sat at the restaurant and enjoyed the complimentary made-to-order omelette and hash browns. (Their complimentary menu actually had lots of options.) Overall, the value was definitely there, and the family who owns and runs the place should be commended for providing good, clean accommodations at such an affordable price. If you’re looking for a clean place to stay, not fancy, and reasonably priced, this is your place.
